Not trust worthy while booking for outstation driver
Booked driver for 6:15am for outstation from blore, to our surprise in the app it was showing as driver is arriving in 10mins to location since 4:30am. However driver never arrived till 6:45am. When tried to call multiple times on number mentioned in app nobody picks nor answers the call neither you will get a call back or SMS about status or about issue if any. To our second surprise,SUDDENLY DRIVER CANCELLED THE TRIP A new Driver was assigned and he took additional 30mins to arrive. So, the trip which was supposed to start at 6:15am started at 7:15am and till then was stuck at pick up location with family in the car at Guruguntya palya doing literally nothing though trip was planned to start early morning.

Questioning the legitimacy of the customer
Have been using the app very regularly since the last one year especially. The quality of the drivers is a mixed bag, at times they are excellent and at times their driving skills are really questionable. However one recent case happened with me when the driver stole 2000 rupees from the car. When I raised this with DriveU, the only response I got was that what proof do you have for this. I agree that it is my word against the driver’s however the least the support team could do was be a bit more empathetic about it. I have made 15+ bookings in a period of 2 months and never was such an issue raised from my end. Questioning the legitimacy of the customer’s complaint in a service industry may not be the best way to deal with such issues.
Long story short, if you are willing to take a chance and hope that you get a good driver so that you do not have the need to deal with the rude customer support agents then you can take a shot at using the app. But beware just in case you face any issues, you would be dealing with a group of “know it all” people who have their own high handed way of dealing with issues

Thoroughly unprofessional
I had a visa interview at 6 am hence booked a driver before 48 hours to avoid last minute rush. App was showing a driver reserved till previous night. Suddenly when I wanted to leave, at 5.30 am app shows they are still searching the driver. It’s only when I follow up, they apologised for not serving. When I requested for replacement of driver, they obliged by sending me a driver at 7.30 am for my 6 am booking. The driver was not stall qualified, kept dozing off the entire time and jumped on every bumper on the road. Because I’d this I had to release the driver before 8 hours, to my shock, they charged me extra for 1. They sending the driver late for my visa interview time 2. I missed my visa interview because of that 3. Driver kept sleeping on duty 4. Rash driving so asked driver to finish the duty before stipulated time 5. When I complained, they sent 375/- in my wallet which I can use 75/- per ride ????? 6. How can you dictate how I use my refund which you give because of your lousy services ??????
