This revamped version of FedMobile– Federal Bank’s highly popular mobile banking application - comes with more user-friendly and advanced features than its predecessor, ensuring a richer and more pleasant experience for its users. We have combined Mobile Banking, FedBook and BHIM UPI into a single application plus a whole host of new features and services to make it a one stop shop for all your banking needs.

Enriched with new banking and payment features, this version of the app is a complete package, which enables users to access and manage their accounts from anywhere, anytime; it enables the user to undertake – banking as well as non-banking transactions.

Specific features include :

Recharge & Bill Payments: Our recharge and bill payment sections allow you to do mobile/DTH/Fastag recharges and payment of a wide variety of bills including Mobile, Electricity, Water, Gas etc.

Transfer funds online: Make payments and funds transfers online real-time, using payments methods like UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS etc.

BHIM UPI: We have integrated all the UPI functionalities into the app so that allows you to enjoy the full bouquet of UPI services using this app.

FedBook: Bank’s digital passbook app is now available as an exclusive feature in FedMobile. This allows you to access all your accounts and statements without having to download FedBook separately.

Investments: Using the app, you can now invest in Gold and Bank’s various deposit schemes. The “Help Me decide” feature in the app will guide you to the most suitable investment option among all the options.

Loans: A full-fledged loans module allows you to manage all your loan accounts, repay loan instalments, apply for loans, and avail loans instantly.

Account Services: The account services menu in the side bar allows you manage features linked to your account like Transaction limits, PIN, VPA, Biometric Login, Profile, Email IDs, Nominee details, ON/OFF/Block/Unblock debit cards etc.

Service Requests: You can make an array of service requests like Cheque Book, submission of 15G/H, Download TDS certificates,

Merchant Services: Our new merchant services section allows you to make Cab, Bus, Flights and Hotel Bookings.

Dear Fed Tech Team,

I have been using Fed Bank and its apps for over 8 years and have been very happy with the services. Most of my family members also use Federal Bank. However, we all face one recurring issue: login problems. We work abroad, and whenever there's an app update, you guys are asking to relogin using an sent a message from our mobile number. This is problematic because our Indian numbers don't work abroad to send messages.

Could you please add the option to receive OTPs via email/text as well? As NRI account holders, we cannot log in once we landed India. Everything else about your service is excellent, but this login issue is a significant inconvenience. We understand the importance of security, and using personal emails for OTPs should be secure as well.

Please consider sending OTPs to either mobile numbers or emails. This is a humble request, and we hope for your assistance.

The best bank for Indians

I would like to thank the customer care department of federal bank for helping me out with a case where I got scammed of 16k and I informed the customer care in which they guided me how to safeguard my account . At first they said they were help less as the problem was I myself had transferred the amount to the scammer so they said they couldn’t help as the bank would take this as an matter of negligence from the customer ( the branch manager and home branch couldn’t help or didn’t even care . But after 2 or 3 calls to the customer care a lady understood the issue and I don’t really know her name but god she did take this Matter up and tadaaa in 20 days I got the complete funds back . Without even filing an FIR . Trust me I do a lot of transactions using many banking services but never ever I have felt so much happy . This federal bank really values their customers. I am forever grateful to the customer service team of the bank for doing such a great service. I praise the lady who called me and told that she will take this matter up on behalf of me and she really did such a wonderful job. I wish federal bank gives good credit to their customer care department. Good job guys you make India and Indians proud . Jai hind 🇮🇳

A Disappointing Experience

Deep dissatisfaction with the Federal Bank mobile application and overall service experience. Unfortunately, my encounters with their services have been far from satisfactory. Firstly, the mobile application itself is poorly designed and unorganized. Navigating through the app is a cumbersome task due to its unintuitive interface. Basic functions are difficult to find, and the app frequently crashes, making it unreliable for essential banking tasks. The user experience is significantly below par compared to other banking apps available today. Moreover, the quality of the application services is disappointingly low. To make matters worse, attempting to reach customer support through the toll-free numbers is an exercise in futility. The numbers are frequently unreachable, leaving customers stranded without assistance. This lack of accessibility is unacceptable, especially for a financial institution where timely support is crucial. Additionally, the telephonic services provided are nothing short of pathetic. On the rare occasions when I did manage to get through, the support staff were either unhelpful or ill-informed, leading to further frustration. The inability to resolve issues efficiently over the phone reflects poorly on the bank’s commitment to customer service.
