View the location of your Apple devices, locate items you’ve attached AirTag to, keep track of Find My network accessories, and share your location with friends and family in a single, easy-to-use app.
Features
View the location of your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, AirPods, devices in your Family Sharing group, AirTag or Find My network accessories on a map, and get directions to their locations in Maps.
When you can’t find your nearby device, AirTag or Find My network accessory, play a sound to pinpoint its location. Get the distance and direction to your AirTag with Precision Finding.
Keep track of personal items with AirTag and Find My network accessories and share these items with up to five other people. Everyone in the group can use Precision Finding to pinpoint the location of a shared AirTag when they’re nearby.
Put devices in Lost Mode to lock the screen and display a message or erase them remotely to protect your data. AirTag and Find My network accessories can also be put in Lost mode to display your contact information to anyone who finds them.
If your missing device, AirTag or compatible third-party accessory isn’t nearby, the Find My app can still help you track it down using the Find My network. It’s all anonymous and encrypted to protect everyone’s privacy.
Use the People tab to share location with friends and family so you can keep in touch, coordinate or know when a family member has arrived home safely.
Meeting up with people in-person is now easier too. With iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, you can use Precision Finding for directions that lead you straight to the person you’re looking for, whether at a park, a restaurant or even a music festival.
If you’re on an adventure without mobile service or Wi‑Fi, you can use Find My on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro to share your location over satellite.
On Apple Watch, use the Find Devices app to view the current location of your Apple devices, Find Items to keep track of AirTag and Find My network accessories, and Find People to share your location with friends and family members.

Update “Find My”
Update find my app. I can’t not track my other Apple devices when that device mobile data is turned off. Or switch off. As you have announced that the device will be findable after mobile is switched off. What if other Apple devices are not around ?? I can’t find my Apple devices if I lost I some other areas where other Apple devices are not around. So kindly requesting to update “even in switch or mobile data off mode we need to find our device location accurately.”
Switching off on lockscreen
iPad has been incredible in terms of security. But there is one issue that really bothers me. Recently one of my friends pranked me by switching off my iPad just from lockscreen. So it’s like any random guy can switch off my iPad in lockscreen without any further step.
Once it gets switched off, even FIND MY app cannot work, it says the device is offline. So it’s untraceable once if it gets switched off.
I really request to add two step process where the user should provide any Touch ID or Face ID to switch off the device, instead of just long press.

Was unable to find my AirPods Pro
I accidentally placed my Airpods in one of the bags in my living room and have forgotten about it, later on I tried to search them with this app, though I was nearby but Device no where to be found in the App, I accepted that I lost my device, I searched for them for almost a week with “Find My” app and still never got even closer to them.
Finally I manually cleaned my place and got them.
Thinking about purchasing AirTag for them. 😞
I don’t know how this App’s Algo works but I think whenever we go away from the device it should maintain the history of device placement and we should be able to see it from the iCloud.
As soon as we go away from the device we should get a notification, you left your device here - are you sure to leave it behind or carry it with you - if settings are enabled 😋 that would be helpful, and then 3 more stars from my side.
Let me know if this is existing feature? How to keep it ON always?
