You deserve a better internet.
Firefox is a fast, private web browser designed to protect you by default. Privacy is built in from the start, so you can focus on what matters instead of worrying about who’s watching.
Why people choose Firefox:
• Enhanced Tracking Protection – Blocks trackers by default to help stop companies from following you across the web.
• Private browsing mode – Browse without saving your history, searches, or cookies.
• Page summaries – Get the key points from long pages and move on faster.
• Built-in password manager – Generate strong passwords, save them securely, and autofill logins when you need them.
• Flexible search options – Choose your default search engine or switch search engines right from the search bar.
• Reader Mode – Remove ads and clutter from articles so you can focus on what you’re reading.
• Sync across devices – Pick up where you left off with synced tabs, bookmarks, and passwords when you sign in to your Mozilla account.
Private by default
Firefox is designed with privacy built in from the moment you start browsing. Enhanced Tracking Protection automatically blocks common background trackers, including social media trackers, crypto miners, and fingerprinters. When you want extra privacy, private browsing mode doesn’t save your history, searches, or cookies.
Focus on what matters
The web can be distracting. Firefox is designed to help you stay focused without making you manage everything yourself. Reader Mode clears clutter from articles, and picture-in-picture keeps videos visible while you multitask—without pulling focus from what you’re doing.
Browse your way
Customise Firefox to fit how you browse. Personalise your home screen with wallpapers and layout options, and choose your preferred search engine instead of being pushed into a single ecosystem.
You can move the search bar to the top or bottom of the screen for easier one-handed browsing. Sign in to your Mozilla account to sync tabs, bookmarks, passwords, and browsing history across devices, so switching feels seamless.
Built for people, not profit
Firefox was created in 2004 by Mozilla as a faster, more private, and more customisable alternative to other browsers. Today, Mozilla remains a non-profit and continues working to make the internet — and the time you spend on it — better.

Firefox is known for its privacy and ethical practices. But another aspect where it excels is performance and resource management. I have been through almost all the browsers available and so far i have found Firefox to be most trustworthy, reliable, performant and standards compliant. Yes, there may be still some fancy features missing which i am sure will get added over time, but this has been a stable companion for me since I started my computing days on Windows, Macs, iPhones and Androids.
Rollback the feature where we are taken to address bar on opening the browser.

I have few issues:1. Please rollback this feature where we r taken directly to address bar on opening Firefox. Or at least provide a way to get out of address bar by simply clicking anywhere on the empty space in home tab. To stretch the thumb all the way to the top to press back button on left side of address bar in order to get out of address bar and close keyboard is irritating. Most of the time people like to access their existing tabs or choose a website from bookmarks. 2. Please provide a feature to clear history, cookies and other website data by clicking on three lines at the bottom right of screen. A sort of a “Forget” button as is available in your windows desktop software. Currently we have to first click on those three lines > settings > data management > clear private data. It would be easy if u just provide a “forget” button at bottom of home tab.
Firefox not what it used to be
prranjal’s_here
Definitely not a replacement for Google Chrome anymore, in fact Firefox has become a web browser that can make Chrome haters to fall in love with it. I don’t know who the heck has taken the responsibility to develop this Mozilla product in the last couple of years but they have done the worst ever job possible. Importing yr passwords and webaddresses from other browser is not supported in this browser, so it’s absolutely not worth switching over to from any other web browser. If you are facing any type of unresolved issue using the Chrome browser, u are going to face the same issues using the Firefox as well so no point choosing the Firefox over Chrome. Ease of use and user experience is worse than any other web browser. So Firefox is not what it used to be, its not user friendly and it’s very much bugged just like Chrome.

Auto Logout Issue while closing tab in private browsing
rj.rahul09
Hello Firefox team, I'm very much enjoying using Firefox Browser. But I want to draw your attention in private browsing issue that I am facing. I normally use private tab to auto delete history that I browse, but the problem is when I log in to my any web account like any mail app or facebook or instagram and there are multiple private tabs that I browse and when I directly close any tab than I automatically logged out from that particular site. For me its very annoying to log in again and again. please solve this problem...
