Ratings and Reviews
The best note taking app
I’ve tried several note taking apps and this one takes the cake.
1. Simple is best - What I love is that it’s simple and not overloaded with unnecessary features. Most of the other apps have so many different pens and fonts and shades and other nonsense that it becomes difficult to navigate.
2. UI - Extremely simple to navigate and user friendly. There is no waste of time and you can immediately get to work. It’s extremely smooth and visually appealing.
3. Cost - One of the major reasons I tried this was that it was free. If I continue to have no issues I would be extremely willing to donate money to keep it running. I do think they deserve much more publicity than they already have.
4. Features - They have a huge number of features that most other apps hide behind a paywall. For me, Freenotes provides everything I need and yet they haven’t overburdened their app with unnecessary features which is perfect. Once again, simple is best.
In conclusion, this app is awesome. I have had a great experience with it and I hope it remains awesome. Big shout out and thanks to the developers. You guys are amazing!
Excellent but one important feature is messed up
I have been using this app from couple of weeks and I am loving it. However, when I try to take a picture and add it to the notes, it is good as it gives me the flexibility to move around the picture wherever I want to place it..I could also click on that floating image and I do get the options to either delete it or make changes to it. However when talking picture of a notes or text, they won’t be as good as a screenshot. But when it comes to importing a picture, then this flexibility is not available. It has its own mind. It just pastes at the end of the notes and doesn't let me move or resize or neither gives me an option to click on it and delete it. On the other hand, the option to paste an image from the clipboard is entirely missing. So, if you could give the functionality for importing images as like taking pictures, that would be great. Please provide an easy option to paste it from the clipboard too. Also, option to trim image after taking photo will be great .
Bug: The flash automatically is turning ON every time I am trying to take a picture.
After using it for a day
I have a lots of note taking apps but this by far the best, not because it’s just free but because of the amazing experience that comes from using it It has all the standard and even more features as compared to notability and Goodnotes It’s has decent amount of creative template not at the level of notability but still good It’s not lagging and have a calm and soothing interface And it does not have those pesky irritating advertisements(at least for now) I will edit the review later on after using it a bit more P.S. - if the guys who created this amazing app for free usage are reading this review, I sincerely thank you and wish you a very good luck so that this app reaches the heights it deserves
