I am using this app on my 12" macbook 2015 and ipad pro 12.9" 1st gen. I am a student studying 4 A Level subjects and preparing for multiple university entrance exams. This app is simply perfect for doing past papers, taking notes, annotating research documents, and so much more. The flexibility in the notebooks and what pages you can add, what writing tools you can use, background color, orientation, etc is so well thought out. You can tailor this app perfectly to your needs. The ability to make folders and keep solved past papers for certain subject components togther is amazing. With goodnotes I can take precise and beautiful notes for any subject that allow me to come back and refer prior to exams or class tests. My two favourite features are the ability to add dark themed pages in the notebook and write with a white pen (this is amazing for late night reads) and the zoom writing functionality which is a lifesaver in economics where I have to write really fast during online classes. I use the macbook to manage files, add files, read without arching my back and in other scenarios where I dont have my ipad. The ability to zoom in allows me to write quickly, with big and rash handwriting, have it stay small and not need to pan over to the next line. The only other thing I could hope for is less lag and glitches when scrolling through big notebooks (especially when I have added images which need to be loaded). Overall, this was the best purchase I have made ever.
