Speedometer now supports 15 languages: English, Swedish, German, Danish, Norwegian Bokmål, Finnish, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Bengali, Portuguese, Indonesian and Urdu. The introduction, settings, dashboard, trip statistics and permission descriptions are localized. Arabic and Urdu include right-to-left layouts. Your saved settings and trip statistics are preserved.

Your journey, at a glance. • New trip statistics on iPhone and iPad: see your top speed, moving average, distance and time in motion. Stops are excluded from the average. • Choose your dashboard: G-force, trip statistics or just your current speed. Switch in Settings or try each option in the introduction. • Pick up where you left off: your trip totals stay saved between app launches until you reset them, with a confirmation before clearing. • Use your chosen module in portrait, landscape and mirrored HUD mode. Trip measurement runs while the app is open in the foreground with reliable GPS. It pauses in the background or when the signal is unreliable.

Meet the redesigned Speedometer. • A refreshed dashboard for iPhone and iPad, with portrait and landscape layouts. • Five colour themes and four digit styles to make the display your own. • Mirrored HUD mode and a choice of light or dark appearance. • A clearer motion panel with current and peak G-force, roll, pitch and yaw. Reset your peak and orientation reference, or hide the panel. • Clearer GPS status, with speed shown once a reliable reading is available. • An updated standalone Apple Watch app with four speed units and on-watch unit selection. • Interactive introductions on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch to help you get started.

Apple Watch App Now Works Independently The Apple Watch app is now fully standalone and no longer requires GPS data from your iPhone. Use it directly from your watch, wherever you are. Improved Night-Time Experience We’ve reduced bright elements throughout the app to make it more comfortable to use in low-light conditions and help reduce glare at night. Automatic Dark Mode Support The app now includes dedicated dark themes and can automatically switch between light and dark appearances to match your iPhone’s system setting.

Improved GPS status information when the signal is weak or unavailable.
