Shows you a lot
The app shows you a lot of you just make it an habit of it becoming consistent in entering all habits, I spend a lot of time doing other things besides personal/professional work. I also would like to know if I have spent time doing something to much such as Netflix some time you do get carried away esp with the Asian drama and movies . Now I can course correct instead of guessing . It will take a few days to form the habit once sorted track every thing . It should become an activity like drinking a glass of water no need to micro tags and manage just big stuff . One you get used to it won’t even bother you - on suggestion to the team a watch application would even make it butter smooth . Cheers - from India .
Very useful application to automate and analyze time tracking
Toggl makes it easy to keep track of the time spent in various activities and analyze the usage over a period of time. I don’t specifically need the ‘billing’ or ‘reports’ feature currently, so am using the free version.
One of the best features I believe is the ability to track time automatically from different apps using ‘Shortcuts’ and the Toggl team has exposed some useful shortcuts for the same. Looking forward to try out the same on Mac once Shortcuts becomes available from Monterey.
One issue I noticed is that using this app is that when the app is tracking time from iPad that doesn’t automatically sync it to iPhone/Watch. But, when we manually sync them it shows up. I also noticed some inconsistencies between the ‘report’ tab and ‘calendar’ tab in the app when I’m using it from multiple devices. This gets fixed on restarting the app or after giving it sometime. Since I’m mostly interested in analyzing the time at EOD it isn’t a big problem as such.

Has all freelancer need
The software is extremely well integrated on the available platforms and the feedback among them is instant. The free version already has all the most essential features so unlike other companies they wont leave you hanging at the end of the month. Any paid program features are also well worth it. All in all its my go to tracker 👍👍👍only thing still missing is good integration with toggl plan, hope to see it happen soon
