Worst Latest Update!! What the Hell

Do not understand what happened with Clubhouse Team!!!! It was the worst update that happened recently!!! Pls roll back to the previous version. This is very poor. Lost all followers and also private chatsHad been using clubhouse since the launch of clubhouse!! But now the quality has reduced to a level where nothing can be worst that it. Pls roll back

Suggestion for a new feature !

I want a private mode so bad. I have two main types of clients and half are in a more traditional/conservative leaning industry and the other half is in the cannabis industry. There are some cannabiz networking groups I want to join but won’t because people will see where I am and/or hop into the room not knowing what the room is about. I also have some industry colleagues who keep jumping into rooms I’m leading and they try to dominate the conversation when I set myself up there to be the subject matter expert. Then they change the subject to talk shop and everyone leaves because they are boring the audience I was cultivating. I honestly want to unfollow everyone but without a proper room search I wouldn’t be able to find any rooms with no connections. Plus, what if you just want to lurk in a guilty pleasure room and you don’t need your professional network knowing what you’re into? There’s tons of rooms I want to check out but I won’t because I don’t want my advertise that I’m in there.

Clubhouse updates have broken accessibility and user experience

Clubhouse was one of the best and most inclusive social audio platforms. The interface was clean, accessible, and worked perfectly with screen readers. But since the updates after 2021, the experience has become extremely poor — and the latest versions are the worst so far.Serious issues in current updates:•Accessibility is almost broken: screen readers cannot correctly read rooms, friends’ names, or navigation options. Creating and managing rooms has become unnecessarily difficult.•The app now automatically pushes users into rooms without letting them choose which room to join — this removes user control and creates frustration.•Rooms are displayed incorrectly, and the interface feels cluttered and confusing.•These constant “experiments” with updates are not improving the app; instead, they are making it unstable and harder to use.This is not just a problem for blind and visually impaired users — even sighted users are frustrated by these unnecessary changes. Many of my friends have already stopped using Clubhouse because of this decline in quality and accessibility.Clubhouse was built around community and user choice. Ignoring accessibility and forcing unwanted changes alienates both blind and sighted users, risking the loss of a loyal user base.I strongly urge the Clubhouse team to stop these failed experiments, roll back to a stable and accessible design, or fix these accessibility and usability issues immediately. Accessibility is not optional; it must be treated as a priority in every update.

The old version of the app already suffered a lot of issues from content discovery to respecting user preferences—for example the “show fewer rooms like this” did nothing since inception. If you tried to say put down some crappy shoot my shot rooms and hope they don’t pop up, it won’t do anything and you’ll continue seeing such rooms. Another example, if you visit a room and then scroll to another and another and then decide to return back to the first, chances are that the hallway is updated and you can no longer find that old room again.Instead of fixing these issues, the CH team seems to have created new ones by moving to a far worse version of the app. Now the discovery is completely gone so you just have more compact vacuums which limits discussions further to your own circles. This is terrible and I’m sure CH is gonna lose more members over time.
