The likes of Proton Drive/MEGA/iCloud with Advanced Data Protection and similar E2EE cloud storage services offer more value for less. I’d advise you to reduce your prices by at least 50% along with launching your own cloud storage app so that users can make the most out of your storage plans, only then you’ve got a chance to go mainstream!

The UI is poor, and the experience is terrible in terms of intuitiveness. The file management is bad, and there are no proper tutorials for uploading or using other features. My biggest issue is deleting albums. When I try to delete an album, I don’t get the option to remove it only from the cloud; it forces me to delete it from my device as well. Furthermore, it says it will delete those photos and videos from all other folders they are uploaded to. I just want to delete that one specific folder. It should be simple, but it isn’t. I am forced to delete files from locations I don’t want to touch, including my local device storage. The UI is not helpful at all in distinguishing these actions. If something is labeled “On Ente,” deleting it should remove it from the cloud, not the device. If I wanted to delete it from my device, I would choose “On Device.” I genuinely can’t delete any folders without literally losing my media just because I don’t want that particular folder anymore. What is wrong with this design? Who hurt the developer? Who came up with this? You should just follow a simple folder structure like Google Drive: if I edit a folder on the cloud, it shouldn’t affect my device.
