Deepl is by far the best translator out there! My experience is mainly with German and it knocks the competition out of the park. I’ve been dedicatedly using it on the browser and would’ve continued to do so without the app. However, with the app now available there’s a much easier and faster way to get the best translations. Nice and simple interface. Superb!

Take the word ‘Konnichiwa’ for example, the so called AI Translator would identify the latin text and just stop right there. Likewise, if one asks for ‘welcome’ in Japanese then it would return with pure Kana text (as if I can read one) like any old plain translator - what’s AI got to do here?Google Translate is still lightyears ahead where it doesn’t need to rely on the next scammy buzzword after ‘crypto’ to not only define “Nani?” → “What?” instantly but understand the context …even the Apple is ahead of the curve surprisingly whether one is switching words between Vietnamese, Assamese, Korean, Thai and the like.
