Expedia: Travel, Hotel, Flight 4+

When you book it is easy. When you want to cancel it will not recognise your itinerary number or will falsely say you are not connected to Internet. Bad practice. I have been wasting time for 10 days to unsuccessfully access and cancel my booking and one more day left to avoid losing money

I am extremely dissatisfied with the online travel booking service provided by Expedia. Despite extensively using their platform in multiple countries, including Central America, USA, India, and Thailand, I encountered a major issue. Due to an agent's failure to provide our names, we were unable to board our flight. Despite contacting Expedia 45 minutes prior to boarding and requesting them to confirm our details with the airline, they failed to do so. An agent admitted that it was Expedia's fault, promised a refund, and advised us to book another set of flights for our connecting flight from Bangkok to Vietnam. However, all flights from the small airport in Koh Samui were fully booked, leaving us stranded and unable to make our connecting flight. When I contacted Expedia again, multiple agents and interrupted support chats later, they refused to take any responsibility. Agents even disconnected the chat when asked to address our concerns. We were left to spend hours at the airport, rebooking our flights, which a reputable booking agency like Expedia should have easily handled. To make matters worse, they have yet to refund a single penny, despite us providing them with our flight confirmations and bills as requested. Based on this experience, Expedia is utterly unreliable, untrustworthy, and unfit for business. I strongly advise against relying on them when you actually need their support.

I booked through Expedia for a Hotel in Montreal for three nights, forced to check out in just half hour because of some criminal activity inspection started by Police. Hotel said i have to go through Expedia for refund. Its about a month now every time i am calling Expedia i am getting the same response that ok we are putting you on hold and calling the property , after few minutes they say that they are not replying. Same is repeating every time. How many hundred times this is going to repeat? They have no answer, just saying keep calling again and again. Why they have hotels on the website which they can’t even contact?
My hard earned money has been stuck in this booking with expedia in which they just washed their hands. Never going to book again with the expedia.
