It was an extremely easy and smooth installation of 4720. I was initially quite apprehensive because i am a complete opposite of a tech geek. But to my pleasant surprise the installation was as smooth as running a knife through butter. Wifi is working great. I photocopied, scanned, printed colour n black n white text as well as colour photo. The printer took less than 30 secs to print out the papers. Colour quality is good. The only small issue i faced was signing into the HP smart app. But that isnt a necessity immediately because even without that you can print from ur phone. My day 1 was great.

Seriously why did u even created this app? Seriously. In this app if have to use absolutely any of the features u need to login which I don't think there's any real reason for other than data collection . And when u try to login or create an. Account , it says that browser has blocked cookies or that my system date is different.i ticked off the block all cookies, it didn't worked. So I literally ticked off all security and privacy measures from my safari settings I didn't liked doing so. But for u data stealing people i had to do it and even that didn't worked. I am very very dissatisfied with ur app. And this printer, which i bought from hard earned money is useless without ur app. And ur app is useless without logging in for ur easy data collection and if someone don't want to, than he can't use the app and hence the printer and if he wants to, than u don't allow him to. What am I supposed to do with this printer????

I am using HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dn with my iPhone 11 and Macbook Air. On iPhone I just can’t directly use the print option which I could earlier do, if I click that it will show on printers screen that it is printing, but then it goes to their home page. I always have to choose a print with HP Smart and there I don’t have a double-sided option which I had earlier. Earlier there were no issues as such but with iOS 14 we have lots of bugs like it.On my Macbook it take awfully long time to print a page, 5 minutes to be exact, whereas it used to only take around 20 seconds on my Dell laptop. Also, it doesn’t print all the pages, let’s say if I want to print 20 pages, then it will only print 13 pages.I love my printer and want to make the best of it, but these things take lot of time to fix and my paper gets wasted. I request your team to please fix it and work on it.
