ABBYY FlexiCapture for iOS is a mobile client for ABBYY FlexiCapture, a data capture solution. The application works like a mobile version of the Scanning Station . The application takes photos of documents, improves their visual quality, and forwards them to ABBYY FlexiCapture, which extracts useful data from the documents and delivers it to the company’s back-end system. Users are no longer confined to their office scanner and can process any information required for their businesses with the aid of their mobile devices, anywhere and any time. Features and Benefits •The mobile client makes capturing data into ECM systems easy and effortless, as users are no longer dependent on their office computers for data capture. •Thanks to the ABBYY Mobile Imaging SDK image processing technology, the quality of images obtained from the mobile client is comparable to scanned images. Colour and black-and-white filters are applied to automatically equalize the illumination and select optimal contrast and brightness, which considerably improves the visual quality of photographed documents. •Users can easily take photos of waybills, invoices, passports, certificates, forms, contracts or any other documents. If a document contains multiple pages, the client will automatically switch into multi-page photo mode. •Redundant backgrounds are automatically cropped to reduce file sizes and traffic between the client and ABBYY FlexiCapture server. •Users receive notifications from ABBYY FlexiCapture server stating if their document photos have been successfully delivered. •When delivered to FlexiCapture server, automatic recognition of specific fields of the document is performed via FlexiCapture layouts and result is added to backend system (CMS, ERP, CRM).
