Recount helps you build a timeline of your money. Each time you log balances, you create a snapshot—a quick picture of your savings and investments at that moment. Snapshots stack into a simple chart so you can see where you’ve been and where you’re heading. Spend a few minutes at month‑end: update balances, and Recount aggregates everything, compares to the last snapshot, and highlights the difference and percentage change. The overview shows total balance, change, and trend; the chart reveals patterns over time. Filter by account groups to focus on what matters. Because everything is manual and on‑device, you stay in control—no bank connections, no tracking. Multi‑currency support keeps totals consistent, and you can plan solo or as a couple by assigning ownership.
