FixMyExport reads the correct capture date from your export file and
writes it into every photo and video before saving. Your Photos

When you export memories, any photo or video with text, stickers, or
location geofilters arrives as two files: the base photo, and a
separate transparent PNG that shows as a black square in Photos.
Every other app ignores this. FixMyExport detects every overlay,
composites it back onto the original photo or video, and saves one
clean merged file per memory.
YOUR MAP IS EMPTY
Your export stores GPS coordinates for every memory in a separate
file rather than inside the photo itself. iPhone Photos reads
location from inside the photo — so your map stays empty even though
the data is there. FixMyExport reads GPS from your export and embeds
it into each file. After processing, your location-tagged memories
appear as pins on your Photos map.
YOUR VIDEOS ARE SPLIT INTO FRAGMENTS
Snapchat stores videos as internal 10-second or 60-second segments.
A 60-second recording exports as 6 separate files. No other app
detects that these belong together. FixMyExport identifies
consecutive segments from the same recording and joins them into one
complete video before saving.
