Biblio.ink: 3D Bookshelf
EPUB & PDF reader and tracker
Free · In-App Purchases
Not an app, a bookshelf.
Full screen mode is here with a clean and customization bookshelf, and more widgets! Try it now, and tell us what you think.
Your unified library in 3D, your physical books and ebooks live together. Drop in an EPUB or PDF and watch it become a hardcover you can pick up, browse, and read.
Biblio turns a folder of files into a library you actually want to visit.
Every book stands on a real 3D shelf, spine, cover, and page edges you can reach in and pick up, turn over, and start reading. A pile of downloads becomes a collection you browse the way you browse a bookshelf at home.
One library, every kind of book
Your ebooks and your physical books live side by side. Scan a barcode, photograph a whole shelf at once, search by title or author, or add a book by hand. However it arrives, it stands on the same shelf.
See your collection, your way
• Shelf: your whole library on beautiful 3D shelves; pinch to see every book at once
• Cascade: flip through your books like flipping through records
• Map: Your library on a world map: books pin to the places they're about, and tapping a place fans out its covers. Pan, zoom, and switch between Map and Constellation in the Graph view.
• Constellation: a quiet map of how your books connect to one another
• List: search, sort, and organize in a tap
A reader that gets out of the way
Clean typography, smooth page turns, and a layout built for long reading. PDFs support markup with Apple Pencil. Your place is always saved.

Yours, and private
Biblio is local-first: your library lives on your device. Turn on iCloud to keep it in sync across iPhone, iPad, and the web, privately.
Biblio is for people who love books — not just reading them, but keeping them, arranging them, and coming back to them.

more Photographed faces
A book can now wear photographs of its own spine and back cover, not just its front. A guided capture keeps the shot lined up, a three-photo set covers the whole book, and the change lands on the book in your hand right away rather than waiting for it to go back on the shelf. Photos sync across your devices and show up on shelves you've shared.
PDF reader
A new Blend theme colors the page surround from the document's own paper, page by page, so the reading surface matches the book. Two-page spreads are here too — off by default, shown when there's room, with the whole reader turning by spread. Both readers now take arrow keys, space, and Escape. And the Mac stall some page turns caused is fixed.
EPUB
A full-page image no longer spills past the page it's on.
Fixed: chart color mode is now one setting for the whole app instead of per-chart, a map cluster count that was hard to read, and Home Screen widgets going blank under the Clear appearance.

Ranking
Inspiration has a second section: the books people are spending real time
with, ranked by hours read. It counts books, never people — no names, no
usernames, nothing about who read what. It stays off until you turn it on,
and turning it off deletes what was sent.
Bring your reading history
Import a CSV from Goodreads, StoryGraph or LibraryThing. Covers are found
as the books arrive, a book you already own is not added twice even when
the editions differ, and the import screen remembers which services you
have already brought across.
Shelves
Every shelf keeps its own appearance, and rename and delete now live in
that same panel. Renaming a shelf you have published leaves its public
link exactly where it was.
Books
Panels no longer invent a year or a page count they do not have — they
show what is known, and what you entered yourself. Reading time follows a
book wherever it appears.
Charts
The map and the reading grid draw in one ink, with a switch back to colour
or to the original palette.

Books that move where you put them
Hold and drag any book to reorder your shelf or list. On the grid, lift a cover and the others make room; in the list, dragging is live the moment you touch a row.
The font size control in the reader now shows actual letter sizes instead of a percentage, so you can see exactly what you're choosing.
Fixed: Home Screen widget covers went blank after being placed, and the book info panel was hard to read in light mode.

Cooler, and more capable
Idle 3D views — the shelf, cascade, and constellation — stop rendering instead of running the phone hot around the clock.
Tap any illustration to see it full-screen. Missing a cover? Generate one with Image Playground.
Fixed: opening a book's info from the list could crash the app, an unzipped EPUB could fail to import, and turning on notifications sometimes did nothing.
1.8.3 28 Aug
Your shelf, and the room behind it, are now yours to choose.
SIX SHELVES, THREE ROOMS, PICKED SEPARATELY
Tap the quiet dot in the bottom-right corner. Warm oak boards against a
gallery wall, a glass shelf in a wood-panelled room — any pairing you like.
The wood room is one continuous wall of the same timber as the shelf, honey
oak by day and walnut by night, with real grain in both. Glass goes liquid:
half-thickness panes, rounded at the edge, each catching a soft trace of the
cover in front of it. And a mid-century unit whose boards thread through real
wire ladders. Warm wood and Classic are free, shelf and room together.
THE HOUSE LIGHTS GO DOWN
A new red velvet room. The curtain arrives rather than appears — two halves
sweep in from the wings, the right a beat behind the left, and settle with the
weight of real fabric. Below it, a table draped in the same cloth your books
stand on. Pinch for more than one tier and the shelf becomes a staircase of
velvet steps climbing back into the room. Free, curtain and boards together.
THREE WIDGETS, AND A LIVE ACTIVITY
Currently Reading — the cover, how far in you are, and a tap that opens the
book at the page you stopped on. Reading Streak — days in a row and the weeks
behind them, on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. And Shelf: not a drawing
of a shelf but a photograph of yours, taken in the room and the style you
chose. On the Mac, the same three on the desktop. Start reading and the book
rides the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island until you close it.
PAGES TURN LIKE PAPER
Both readers now curl the page under your finger. It leans the way you drag,
keeps the pace of your hand, and turns a page rather than the whole screen.
PDFs too.
A WORD FROM YOUR OWN SHELF
Biblio can now say something about a book that is actually yours — an author
born today, a book you finished a year ago tonight, a book that has gone quiet
on you. One a week at the very most, most weeks nothing at all, and never a red
badge. Your titles and dates are read on this device and nothing about them is
sent anywhere. Off entirely until you ask for it.
CHOOSE YOUR BINDING
Six app icons cut from the same leather. On iOS 26 they take the Clear and
Tinted looks with them, and the shelf stands on the Home Screen itself.
ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
The Map, Reading and Constellation views now stand in the room you chose.
Covers arrive for catalogue books that were published without one. Settings
shows how much of your cloud storage is spoken for, and what happens when it
fills. Markdown manuscripts open like any other book. Highlighting across a
page break holds still while you drag. Plus a long list of smaller fixes and a
faster shelf.
1.8 25 Aug
A shelf of your own.
The shelf your books stand on, and the room behind it, are now yours to
choose. Tap the quiet dot in the bottom-right corner.
• Pick the shelf and the room separately — warm oak boards against a
gallery wall, or a glass shelf in a wood-panelled room. Any pairing.
• Six shelves: warm wood, classic, cream, brown, glass, and a mid-century
unit whose boards thread through real wire ladders.
• Glass is float glass — see-through panes with green-teal edges, held up
by chrome poles when you zoom out to more than one tier.
• The warm wood room is one continuous wall of the same timber as the
shelf: honey oak by day, walnut by night, with real grain in both.
• Warm wood and Classic are free, shelf and room together. The rest come
with membership — try any of them first, and the shelf reverts when you
close the panel.
A new icon, and seven more.
• Biblio now wears a stone leather board with its name blind-embossed in
the corner.
• Eight bindings in all, in Settings. Stone and the original Classic
plate are free; the six leather dyes come with membership.
Also in this release
• Set a book down on the glass shelf and it sounds like glass, not timber.
• Swipe page-turns are back in the reader.
• Book descriptions that arrived from an epub as raw markup read as prose
again — the ones already in your library are repaired the next time you
open the app.
• A shared picture of your shelf carries the room you actually chose.
• A cover no longer flickers as the book settles back onto the shelf.
• On Mac, Done closes the finished-this-year list again.
1.7 18 Aug
Biblio can now go and find books for you, not only hold the ones you
already have.
BROWSE A CATALOG
The Add menu has a new door. It opens Project Gutenberg and its 75,000
free, public domain books. Search it, or wander through Popular, Latest
and Random. A book arrives the way any other does, with a real cover and
real metadata, filed on your shelf and ready to read.
Run your own library? Add a server for Kavita, Calibre-Web, Komga, COPS
or calibre's own content server. Anything that speaks OPDS will do. Test
the connection before you save it, and your key or password stays in the
device keychain, never synced.
SHARE A LINE
Select a passage in the reader and choose Share Quote. Biblio draws it as
a picture in that book's own colours, with its cover, title, author and
the chapter it came from, ready for wherever you post it. Saved
highlights share the same way.
JAPANESE SPINES STAND UP
Japanese and Chinese titles now read top to bottom on the spine, the way
they do on a real shelf.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
A new switch in Settings lets Biblio tell you when there is a new release
or a free book worth reading. It is off until you turn it on, and turning
it off stops everything. A few times a year at most, and never anything
about what you read.
ALSO
Share your shelf on a photo of your own. See everything you finished this
year as a poster of its covers. And a fix for a crash when opening a book
from the list.
1.6.1 10 Aug
• Books that open the right way — manga, Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian books
now bind on the right and read back to front; top-bound documents flip up
like a binder. Read straight from the epub, mirrored on the shelf, matched
in the reader. Plus a new "document" genre.
• Share your shelf — turn any view into a share-ready image (Story or Post):
the shelf, a book in hand, the map, or the constellation, wordmark and your
name included.
• New arrivals wear an obi — a paper band that tears when you first open the book.
• Read undisturbed — a Reading Focus quiets the library to just your book;
epub page progress now keeps up screen by screen.
1.4 22 Jul
• The world map now groups nearby bookshops into a single marker — tap to zoom in and spread them apart. Cities with several shops stay readable instead of overlapping.
• Ask Vidya to find a book and the map now flies straight to its location.
• Fixed the constellation losing your focused book when switching between light and dark.
• Smoother book hover on the cascade shelf.
• On Mac, the shelf no longer flickers when you switch back to the app.
• More reliable iCloud and Biblio Cloud sync, with clearer messaging if a sync needs a moment to retry.
1.3.1 17 Jul
- Change a book's cover by dragging an image straight onto it, on Mac and iPad.
- Ask Vidya to find covers for books that came in without one.
- Grid view gains a hover response, and several crashes and rough edges are fixed.
- Now member can change the 'Biblio' wordmark to any name you'd like or even hide it for clean, minimal interface.
- Game controller support.
1.2 12 Jul
**The Map.** Your library on a world map: books pin to the places they're about, and tapping a place fans out its covers. Pan, zoom, and switch between Map and Constellation in the Graph view.
- Pick or hide a book's map location yourself from the editor and books spanning several countries now pin at each one.
- Importing a file you already own now opens your existing copy instead of creating a duplicate.
- Shelf swipes and arrows now land centered on a book.
- Covers are backed up with your library, shelf reordering syncs across devices, and the cover grid respects Reduce Motion.
- Fixes: the Import file button in the Add sheet, an editor freeze, a cover-save crash, and a visible seam in landscape.
