What's New in neTV 1.7 Multiple providers • Save several neTV servers, Xtream accounts and M3U playlists, and switch between them in Settings. Each keeps its own categories and favorites. • Signing in is easier: the provider type is now a clear "Provider" row. If you pick the wrong type, neTV works out the right one, and you can paste a playlist link without a username or password. Programme guide • Very large guides from big providers now load, using far less memory. • The first load of a new provider shows its download progress, and later launches skip the download when the guide hasn't changed. HEVC channels • HEVC channels start much faster and play more smoothly. • HEVC channels from Xtream providers that played sound only now show the picture. Playback • Opening Settings no longer stops the channel you're watching. • Clearer messages when a channel is offline or your provider refuses the stream, for example at its connection limit. • iPhone: Fill Screen has its own icon and no longer overlaps the Full Screen button.

New - Favorites: star any channel to add it to Favorites, now at the top of your categories. On iPhone, tap the star on a channel. On Mac, click the star or right-click a programme. On Apple TV, press and hold a programme. Favorites stay visible even when their category is hidden. - More M3U playlists play: channels that send a raw MPEG-TS stream, common with many IPTV providers, now play directly in neTV. - HEVC and Dolby audio: HEVC (H.265) channels now play with picture, not just sound. Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus audio, including 5.1, now play on those channels. - TV guide for Xtream and M3U: programme listings now load from your provider's guide feed and refresh automatically every 30 minutes. Browse Earlier, Now and Later, up to 7 days ahead and back through up to 3 days of past listings. - Fill Screen on iPhone: tap the new button in the player, or pinch, to fill the screen instead of showing black bars. neTV remembers your choice. - Choose your categories: in Settings → Categories, pick which categories appear in the guide, with Select All and Hide All. - neTV Backend for direct sources: connect an Xtream or M3U source to your neTV server to use its playlists, allowed categories and guide, while video keeps playing straight from your provider. Improved - A redesigned iPhone guide keeps channel names fixed on the left while you swipe through the schedule. - Clearer messages when a channel is offline or uses a video format Apple devices can't play. - More reliable playback for long-running live streams. If the provider drops the connection, neTV reconnects automatically.

• Connect directly: Add Xtream credentials or an M3U playlist without running a neTV backend. • New iPhone guide: Swipe left and right through schedules, with channel logos, names, and programs displayed together. • Categories tab: Quickly search categories and jump to their channels. • Customize your guide: Show or hide categories, with Select All and Hide All. Preferences are saved per source. • Improved EPG: Automatic refresh every 30 minutes and up to three days of saved listings, with provider-supported history backfill. • Faster performance: Significantly reduced CPU usage during guide loading and history updates. • Playback improvements: Faster direct-stream startup and improved recovery and buffering. • Cross-device handoff: Resume watching on another device when connected to a neTV server. • Mac and Apple TV: Expanded Settings layout. Fullscreen Mac playback now prevents idle sleep.

• Improved guide refresh, focus restoration, and navigation. • Live rewind and forward seeking in 15-second steps, retaining up to two hours. • A scheduled-program timeline showing playback position, live position, and behind-live distance. • Shared timeline and transport controls across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. • Resolution badge synchronized with playback controls. • Automatic playback recovery after stalled live sessions. • Native captions from upstream content, preserved across quality changes and recovery. • Apple TV caption controls moved into the bottom transport bar with a neutral icon. • Cadence-aware playback buffering for more reliable startup and fewer stalls. • Improved Apple TV search: submitting the keyboard returns to the guide, and the active filter can be cleared directly from the header.
