We had the bestest experience via get your guide - not to mention that the activities and people on this app are so professionally sound but so well trained to guide and host guests as well . We had the opportunity to connect with Faiz as our guide who collected us from our hotel took us into this super well planned desert safari helped us through the day with so much of indulging interaction about the culture history and even geography - we were amazed by his level of knowledge and above all the passion he has for the field of tourism and guests which was seen through the day . He kept checking on us and got us safely home . I now know how and why this app is the beat platform . Thankyou GetYourGuide as well as the partner entity who connected us with Faiz !
Cancelled a trip with no explanations whatsoever

Had used GetYourGuide app to book a 3 nights Halong bay cruise . Randomly I receive a msg that the trip is cancelled. I even got my refund. The service provider on the other hand is messaging me that the trip is not cancelled , it on, We’ll update you. On telling him I got the refund already. He says no pre-payment required. You come down, You be prepared for the trip. All seemed very strange. The reason why I choose GetYouGuide was I thought they were reliable. But they just shrug off all responsibilities. Very casual . They think they don’t need to inform about cancellations. When i contacted them the reason they gave me is that the activity was deactivated, and it took time to get updated on the app. When I informed them that I had made the booking almost a month back, they have no answer for that. Same Standard scripted reply- company policy, can’t do anything once cancelled, I can’t access information, we regret the inconvenience. No sincerity even in expressing regret! It may be wise to deal will the local vendors directly. At least they would be honest, upfront and clear about things .

Highly, highly recommend this fantastic private tour with Rajesh! Well worth the early start from Delhi - they pick you up straight from the hotel for the drive down to Agra. We debated which day to do this, and as an added bonus since we just arrived the night before, jet lag made the 2am meeting time even easier. Rajesh is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and fun! The entire day (Taj tour, breakfast, fort, and stops at local shops after) was so well thought out and informative. Also, sunrise is the time to see the Taj! It was already getting crowded and hot towards the end of our morning there. So glad to have done this on our first full day in India - couldn’t think of a better start

I recently took a trip to Greece and this app came in handy most of the times. I made most of my trip activity bookings through the app and none of them were a disappointment. I was a little skeptical after reading the mixed reviews for the app since I was doing all the planning myself, but after my experience, I’d definitely recommend tourists making their own bookings or if you just want to randomly try an activity during your visit. It’s important to note that they are service providers and not a tour guide company. After the booking you are put in touch with your particular activity provider and all details are sent on the app as well as your email. Definitely value for money! Looking forward to using it for my future trips!
