There is a slight noticeable lag in the mouse movement because of which you would not like to use the connected iPad as your main working screen. Other than that it works like a breeze. Using it with iMac (Catalina), Windows 10 and Windows 7. It took a little while to get it to work with Windows 7. The support was there to hand hold, though the replies came after 24 hrs, which could be attributed to time zone differences.A good functional expensive asset that was lying idle / waste has been resurrected productively. Using it as the 3rd screen while working on the table and as an easy to carry 2nd screen when travelling. Best part is that you get to use the touch navigation of the iPad.Money well spent.
Duet pro and air for iPad and Mac

Good product and it works flawlessly on Mac and iPad. Even the remote login works well. Support is one of the best I experienced. A day back I installed the duet app and was not working due to some issues due to cable and I was not sure how to connect iPad and Mac over the air. Dropped a mail and thought would get reply after few days but to my surprise got reply within 10mins flat and then we exchanged few mails to make the app work. Thanks to the Sergio from the support team.

If you’re considering using this as a sort of Wacom Cintiq for your Mac/ Windows: don’t! The lag is truly horrible even in the most lightweight of sketching applications like Rebelle 3 and Autodesk Sketchbook. It’s so bad it’s completely unusable.BUT THE WORST part is that when you first launch the app, it’ll offer you a 1 week Pro trial that’s supposed to optimize the experience for digital art (ha!). I chose that one, thinking I could always cancel in the next 1 week ifI decided not to keep it. Got an email minutes later saying that my purchase for the Pro version was successful. Went to the App store and checked my subscriptions, and sure enough, it charged my card on the very same day. Said it would renew exactly a year from the day I first installed the app. This is clear deception; every other app that offers a trial period does NOT charge you before the trial period expires. Needless to say, that’s Rs.3,000 gone down the drain. Oh and did I mention that the resolution on the mirrored display is absolutely terrible? Defeats the whole purpose, really. If this is what the ‘pro’ version is, I shudder to think what the Air and the Free versions are like. Also the iPad got REALLY hot during use- I don’t think it’s ever run that warm before. Bottom line: It’s an absolute waste of money, just wait for iPadOS and Sidecar on your Mac and use that. Or just hook up a Wacom to your computer. Just stay away from Duet.
