It is my pleasure to write my appreciation for the IRCTC site and App . I use both and I am very satisfied. Sometimes, the internet gives problem but booking tickets can be much simplified; especially, too many times the typing of captcha could be avoided.
The experience is otherwise great and it has certainly made a difference in train travels by individuals especially the senior citizens like me.

IndianRail e-ticket booking and cancellation is very using Indian Railway App
IndianRail has developed very user friendly App to book tickets and if necessary during pandemic period one can cancel it. Even lay man can use it easily from anywhere. It’s very good App.
One point is to be noted that we are forced to cancel tickets due to lockdown and on such cases IndianRail should not debit cancellation charges which becomes a fine to travellers and deductions become burden. IndianRail should think on it and reverse ticket cancellation charges to travellers which is unnecessary deductions.

Pathetic service and app by Indian railway
I use iphone 6
version: ios 12.4
whenever I try to book ticket, after click on “Book ticket” option, It redirect to IRCTC site and error pop up that “click here” to login. after clicking on “click here”, nothing happen.
it’s Indian railway mobile application. dont you think so its a shame for us as a Indian, when foreigner tourists travel in any country they use train and public transportation to reach specific locations. I am sure lot of tourists have disappointed and not to travel in India because of these kind of pathetic service .I have traveled in Europe, I have experienced best services from their railway, busses, tube,underground,overground tubes.
as a responsible and important service which is Indian railway, Dont you think so its your responsibility to give best service to the Indian people and the people who come across the globe to travel india .
I mean I am not even able to upload a screenshot of error .
