Bug or cheating not sure
Hi guys, I am not sure, if it is a bug in the app or an intentional algorithm to steal some extra bucks from people using this app for train booking. Let me try to explain this. Day before yesterday I was trying to book a tatkal ticket through this app, once the payment was made, it pushed me to IRCTC site for login, I was trying to login but due to some issue the login was delayed and a message pop up that as you didn’t logged into IRCTC account, the ticket is not generated and refund of amount paid is initiated successfully. Believe me or not but I clearly read this message and it having faith in app didn’t took screenshot. Since I needed to travel so retried booking and got it done successfully. Thanks to this excellent, smart,intelligent App, after 1/2 an hr I noticed that actually I have got two confirmed tickets on my name in same train on sane day on sane route but in different coaches and there was no refund. No cancellations as it’s tatkal and 100% non refundable, no option to contact customer care for such issue… simply I lost 1200/-₹ to this .. so developer, may I request you to look into this, if not an intentional path created by you guys. Thanks

Very Very Very nice app
This time I used Ixigo for my journey . From Mumbai(cst) to Pune.. it was an amazing experience. First thing i liked that. This app gives the route jorney. Which station this train has passes and which is ahead. . Second thing. When i came to CsT for boarding, i dis not ask anyone on what platform the train is.. very much friendly. And very much useful app. .. i had compared this to Goibibo and IRCTC(Indian railways app) but i found that this app has amazing user friendlyness. And has good experience. Surely i will use this for my next train Journeys..
One thing i would like to mention, i get slow response from the support when i opted chat options for my query. But yes my query was resolved. So good experience with ixigo.
Great app marred by very “misleading ETA” on running status
Everything is good about this app except the time displayed on running status. Your app has following issues: 1. Your app seems calculate the ETA based on average delays and predicts future ETAs for next stations. This is misleading as the train many times covers up and reached earlier than your calculated ETA. This has lead many of my known people to miss the train. 2. Even after train is passed one station, it shows wrong “Act. dep.” time on your app 3. You are advised to ONLY display what you KNOW by gps of your customers or any other trustable feed. DO NOT PREDICT pls. Ground reality is your predictions are wrong and misleading. Even if you put the disclaimer that this is not IRCTC data, still it is a breach of customer’s trust who will not go in your fineprinted details. Rest of the app is good. 2 stars removed only for your misleading ETA issues.
