I recently found out that including a CTA button apparently requires a Business Premium subscription instead of just turning on Creator Mode like earlier. I don’t understand why this change was even made or the reasoning behind this nonsense, but apparently in their help articles they claimed it was to make “improvements.” I highly doubt they even spoke to a single LinkedIn user to come to the conclusion that CTA buttons are worth 14k rupees per month, & this decision was just made out of pure greed. I filed a complaint, which was forwarded to some random guy in the support team who allegedly “couldn’t find a solution” & had to forward it to a more senior employee, who also said that he “couldn’t find a solution” & closed my ticket. Judging by those responses to my complaint, I don’t think a single human employee was even involved in addressing my complaint in the first place. Must be so nice to shamelessly hide behind some AI-generated text on a screen to avoid taking feedback from users. The LinkedIn support team is just incapable & lazy.
