Worst search function

I cannot find anything that I want from the search function of the app. Medscape doesn’t allow anyone to read any article without logging in the app or browser. That itself is infuriating. Now the search option in the app is horrible. I found an article on my phone browser and I have spent lot of time trying to open that article in the app. I even copied the title of the article from the google search on chrome, yet it fails to retrieve the article. I have never seen a pathetic search function in any app I have ever used.

This used to be a very good app long time back. But for past few years, the app has allowed ingress of advertising on home screen as well as within the article body. The advertisements have covered most of visible space, leaving behind little space to read medical content. The app has grown so much bloated serving adds that it lags while searching its index. The developers need to work on the issue of reducing excessive advertising and should make the advts unobtrusive and definitely remove advts from within the body of text.
