Outplayer 4+

Thank you to the developer to make this app. This is literally the perfect media player app for iOS.

Supports files which in turn supports samba shares and files stored / downloaded locally.
You can transfer files directly to the app over local network which is tbh the most brilliant and handy thing and probably most used feature of the app. It works flawlessly and is incredibly fast.
Finally it plays all formats (mpv based as someone mentions which is in turn based on the tried and tested mplayer).

This is literally the smoothest player I have ever used on ios/ipad. It flawlessly plays all sorts of media. I have been playing 4K 60fps high bitrate videos, and there’s no lag at all. Compared to all the top players on App Store right now, this one is the best for me. I love the extremely simple and elegant UI. It has all the necessary features needed during playback, and I don’t feel the need for anything else.

I was using always Infuse but it has some issue over High Quality or Dolby sound videos. But ‘Out Player’ is superb also very easy to play the video in PIP and the best thing I was searching but not found in any video player i.e. subtitle support in Picture in Picture, Hats off 🫡🫡

Just one last thing that is missing, no option of subtitle download available. Please give us as soon as possible.
