This is it!

I can’t believe it! Pdf giants like Adobe, Foxit reader, don’t even offer the options in iOS that this app provides! It is really a power bundle. Seamless reading of huge pdfs with flipping animation and simultaneous annotations! Ebook reading is so much fun. This app is a joy.
I had to really switch back to App store to write this review while reading my book. Given the frustration of downloading apps, trying, finding after some time a subscription pop up or not much useful features and then deleting them. And back to the app hunt. The features that this app’s developer provides in the basic version are so useful in themselves! While the pro charges seem justifiable with respect to their pricings and really seem the power bundle. I do hope there is no catch following behind. Because, this app is it! It’s everything I needed in my pdf reader. Absolutely in love. Highly recommended to students.

Unreliable sync

I have been using this app for more than a year and had been happy with it. It’s a well thought out app which provides basic note taking and annotation features which all work intuitively. One of the differentiating features of this app, which led me to start using this app in the first place, is that it allows connecting to google drive or one drive accounts, editing documents, and syncing them automatically without having to import/export them manually. This was my primary use case as I access and update my notes both on my iPad and windows laptop. Unfortunately, this app has been quite unreliable lately. While browsing pdf files, it often blacks out certain pages (perhaps a sign of file corruption). After that despite reopening documents, restarting the app, clearing its cache from the settings, it just doesn’t open those pdf files (the wait spinner keeps spinning indefinitely). A couple of times this has caused me to lose hours of work. The one drive app, however, is able to open the same file (albeit without the notes added in this app). The problem has gotten worse in recent weeks, and I find it hard to reliably use this app for more than 30 minutes before it starts corrupting files and stops syncing data. Would definitely look to purchase this app if these issues are sorted, at the moment though, it’s extremely unreliable.

This is amazing!

I am new to iOS and bought my iPad solely for the purpose of reading. In the first one month I tried 14 different apps, even the paid ones but this one stood the test of time. I got used to this app and became very comfortable getting glued to the screen for hours. However there are some issues with highlighting that you need to fix:
1. When using Apple Pencil highlighting in some pdf document doesn’t start selecting from the place I pointed; it either starts selecting from the previous word or the next one which is annoying.
2. Changing one color between two very closely highlighted portion changes the color of the previous portion also.
3. The note popup is too big a size to be comfortable with. A smaller text box will look more neat.
Except for these small issues, I am having fun using this app. Please keep updating and add new features. Peace
