New interface giving trouble
UPDATED COMMENT : After update It showed screwed up data and after logging out all the data got erased. Now this frustrated me and as per the previous comment of mine I deleted this app and tried others. After trying two other I came back to this. Though I am still not happy with interface this app still does the best possible job for me.
OLDER COMMENT : I had been using this app for 2 years now. I found it a great platform to track my family expense and found the simple layout very convenient to use. After update it shows screwed up data, and I am not at all happy with the new interface. I have logged out and reinstalled the app, hopefully the data would correct itself. If Not I am actually gonna delete it for ever and download some other finance app.
Latest update is visually good but distorts the basic functionality
No doubt latest update has made the app visually appealing. But it has destroyed the basic functionalities - sub categories are now presented in a laundry list and not in a tree structure, thereby making it difficult to select the right subcategory. Autofill was easier to use earlier when it was like a drop down. Now we need fo swipe left to tight continuously to find the right combination. After selecting a sub-category and unless the transaction is saved, it just shows the subcategory and not category:subcategory like it used to show earlier. So it just confuses and makes us recheck if indeed that subcategory belongs to the right category. Even the total shown in report is wrong.
To put it short, app needs a major rework on logic and intuitiveness.
This is best I have found after the search of 1yr on apple App Store. This best because it gives you clear tracking of your bank balance & budget vs actual experience. You will find no of apps on App Store but the customisations n the required report you will get in this app only.
I have used 100 of apps before this but not single apps help me to give required support.
Dear developers pls try to provide authority to plan budget for subcategories wise for more better tracking. For exp. if you have 4 subcategories under main expense head you need to budget for them in totality, n need to keep back of your mind individual subcategories budget, which difficult.
