Team up and take down the opposition in Pokémon’s first 5-on-5 strategic team battle game!
Join Trainers from around the world as they head for Aeos Island to compete in Unite Battles! In Unite Battles, Trainers face off in 5-on-5 team battles to see who can score the most points within the allotted time. Teamwork is key as you and your teammates defeat wild Pokémon, level up, evolve your own Pokémon, and work to prevent the opposing team from scoring points. Put your teamwork to the test, and take home the win!
Key Features:
• BATTLE IN STYLE: Take to the field while looking your best in Holowear! Thanks to a special technology developed using Aeos energy, Trainers can deck out their Pokémon in a variety of holographic outfits—with new styles arriving regularly!
• UNITE MOVES: Unleash the true power of your Pokémon with Unite Moves! Leverage these all-new Pokémon moves, which are only possible while in Unite Battles, and turn the tide of even the direst situations.
• RANK UP: Looking to prove how skilled you are? Participate in ranked matches, and earn points as you climb up the global leaderboard!
• COMMUNICATION IS KEY: Even the most-skilled Trainers recognize how important communication is to their team’s success. Leverage signals, quick-chat messages, and—for the first time in a Pokémon title—voice chat to communicate and stay in sync with your team.
• CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY: Challenge Trainers from around the world to Unite Battles on the Nintendo Switch™ system or on a compatible mobile device thanks to cross-platform support. Trainers may use their Pokémon Trainer Club account or Nintendo Account on both Nintendo Switch and mobile to easily keep their progress synced between devices.

The game is really awesome and addictive. Few suggestions are 1) peoples who are not pressing ready for matchmaking should not be allowed to do match matching for few minutes. 2) idling in game two times in a row should ban that user from playing ranked match again. 3) few characters like gengar, scizor, urshifu and buzzwole are over powered. 4) if my team doesn’t have any all rounders then match matching should be relevant enough to not put all rounders in the opposing team 5) as pokemon go has lots of Pokémon’s, unite should also bring Atleast 10 characters more to make it more diverse and exciting . We need a new map in ranked match .Thank you
Great game, bad pairing and AI

Update: I uninstalled the game after the clear bias in designating teams as you level up. No matter how you play, you lose because of team players leaving or idling in matches. And the app is to blame because it does not even allow to chat with the players or strategise. The game is really good but the unfair part of it is the auto pairing. I have gathered some data from the games I have played (over 500) and it seems like as you progress in your class and level up, the last 2 levels of veteran and ultra especially, the system ties you up with players of lower level on purpose so that you don’t win. The system makes sure that the pairing is not 2 bad players in both the teams but 4 bad player in one team. There also is a big flaw in the bot Pokémon player after a player has dropped. The boy has very very limited functionality and does NOT play like a real team player. Also, when a player is idling, let the team decide if they should kick them out of a match. It is meaningless to have someone in the game who hasn’t moved in 20seconds. Then there are obvious flaws in the chatting options too.
The devs are being too lazy
ZER0097
The game and gameplay is outstanding without a doubt and is the key behind people playing the game. But the devs have forgotten the most important aspect of a game, rewarding people's time. I wouldn't have given it such low ratings if they were actually trying to improve but they seemed to only keep going only for the sake of whatever money they can squeeze out of the playerbase with unreasonable prices. For new players, this game can easily hold out for around 2 years but veterans of the game are just suffering now with their intent to stick to the game being attacked again and again with no accessible contents, really late patch notes, less character release, etc. The game now don't release anything to use the 4 types of currencies that it used to provide and only use able currency is real money and even the prices are now going up that too for even lesser amount of things. It's a pity that the game is reduced to such with obvious shortcomings of it being ignored for years now. Lazy devs have killed the game for me.
Best pokémon battles but with a myriad of frustrations
Shamstrom027
Controlling a pokémon actively in battle is a long-awaited wish for every franchise and series enthusiast. After the vanilla trainer battles of Pokémon GO and the conventional nintendo game launches, Pokémon Unite had the chance to be frenzied, fast and epic fun. I adore their decision to go down the MOBA route. Sadly, the route is littered with mis-managed debris and the Pokémon flavor is quickly replaced by common sense that things aren't working out. Gameplay – 4/10 Visuals – 5/5 Level Design – 1/5 Soundtrack – 4/5ProsDynamic GameplayBeautiful Animations of the Pokémon move sets Simple gameplay with room for smart thinking as well as pairing with other team playersGenerous with the licenses to use new Pokémon and cosmetic items in the initial 4 weeks of play ConsIllogical map design - teams can choose to completely avoid each other by picking opposite paths. No one picks balanced teams - four out of five matches, I was forced to change my choice because everyone has to lock in Zeraora without thinking of the team Practice area is useless - I want to try moves instantly Crustle’s Rock Tomb is difficult to use on the bottom screen of the phone Farming the key Pokémon - our team sapped 90% of Zapdos’s health. Then the opposite team jumps in and kills Zapdos and usRespawn time towards the end is ridiculous - there is no way to fend off the attack if I’m out of the game for the last 30 seconds No voice communication Feels like a grind due to lack of other main maps
