I wish I had taken the earlier reviews on the app seriously. I thought that there must be some issue with tenant that they didn’t get any refund. Now that I have seen it 1st hand, I can confirm that once you have paid the money, no one from the Settl team replies to your email. Tell them that they are not providing basic services, they won’t reply, tell them that you will leave they won’t reply and then you ask for deposit refund, no one replies. The founders, ops team have pathetic attitude towards tenants. I wonder how they got funding from the investors? Must have embezzled investors money also. Refrain from using Settl. You will regret it.

It had been almost 4 months of one in one conversations with Settl Management over my deposit amount. It was around 54,000 but all we were receiving were "Patience" and "Sorry" replies on mail. I tried getting over calls but none of that helped other than giving me hope that in 2 days it will be refunded.

But Imran helped here. I would suggest go directly to the office to get your deposit refunded if it breaches the contract period otherwise forget about your money.

These people are frauds. Cheat your money. No proper assistance from anyone. The only to communicate is through emails and they respond properly and close the ticket without confirmation. They took my security deposit and put unwanted charges and returned less amount. These people should be punished and with this attitude I’m pretty sure their business will go down. 0 stars and not at all recommended.
