Thermals going very high when calling shortcut from photos app
Hi Team,
I have created a shortcut which extracts audio from a video in m4a format and save it in my storage. Initial testings inside the shortcuts application is successful and I was able to save the extracted audio to my local storage in iphone.
The problem is when I call this shortcut from Photos application, its showing processing and there is no progress and at the same time, the device starts to heat up significantly. Even though I cancelled the operation, removed the shortcut and the video, the device was progressively heating up and battery was also draining because of the heat. There were no other running apps and the only way that I could fix this was to restart the device.
I actually tried 3 attempts of calling shortcut and every time the device thermals were going up and I had to restart the device for the heating to stop.
Please check this and work on fixing this issue. The device I am using is iPhone 13 and the ios version is 15.7.
MISSING IMPORTANT ACTION- Need “Set Ringer Volume” Action
Missing important Actions as Set Ringer Volume, Set Mute/ Set Ring, Leaving WiFi etc options from the list of actions while creating any shortcut/ automation. Not understanding why the hell “set ringer volume” is not available in the action list whereas there is only Set Volume which adjusts only Media sounds not Ringing/Notification sounds? Do you think only music volume is enough and there is no other volume to control? Please update and provide control over ringer volume as well in action list in shortcut. Unless to adjust ringer volume we need to go every time to settings and navigate to sounds etc. Actually this feels shame to discuss others about iPhone features when this primitive things are missing. Please give Set Ringer Volume action in Shortcut.
