Renamed the Sonos S1 Controller, this app supports systems that include the oldest Sonos products. Systems supported by this app will continue to receive bug fixes and security patches but will not receive new software features found in the new Sonos S2 app and will not be compatible with Sonos products released after May 2020. The Absolute best!
You can’t go wrong with the Sonos play one and play five. A very clean pristine sounding pare of speakers that retain an extremely similar sound signature when used in a network, especially after using the speaker calibration to set up the speakers.
The integration with all other steaming services is fantastic and easy to use.
I highly recommend these amazing speakers!
Stopping of updates for pre 2015 units
Hello i was horrified that updates to your pre 2015 machines will stop. You need to figure out how people with older machines can use the units without the updates. This is a good system but woth this move you will lose a lot of clients.
Brilliant
I am a user in India, so the functionality that I get might be a bit less then US or EU, but still find the app brilliant. It connects to a variety of sources - Apple Music & Gaana are the ones I use, and also comes with Radio subscription. You can build you own playlists or just dump favs into the default one! Experience is pretty seamless most of the time. And it interacts well with the speaker as well.
