Urban Ladder 4+

Ever since the company got taken over by Reliance, the quality of furniture, customer service and delivery service has gone seriously downhill. I remember when they’d just started off, I had purchased a new bed, sideboard, shoe cabinet, coffee table, carpet and many other products. I had a wonderful experience everytime. I’m moving to a new home and last month I tried to order a 3 seated sofa, a recliner and an accent chair. The recliner was unstable, screws falling off and had a tear in its upholstery. It took them over 2 weeks to arrange pickup of the damaged product. I’m still waiting on the refund. It’s almost a month since I placed the order and I still haven’t received the sofa.

Their customer service team is incompetent to a level that is astonishing. They can’t even do a simple job of tracking where the product is, their standard answer for over 2 weeks is that your product will reach you tomorrow!

Very disappointed, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I seriously am disgraced with the company work procedure and working capabilities. I had ordered furnitures and some of them were raking awful amount of time to get delivered( walter chest and shelf temple). The reps told me earlier that the chest of drawers was available however, it did not het delivered. The worst part is that it was ordered about a 50 days ago and no one bothered to even look at the amount of delay has happened and simply kept mum over this. Whereas, a company should take an immediate action on this and check for an immediately availability even if the price is 5-10% higher than the orig one( I am talking if it takes about 50 days good lord). On a serious note they did not even bother to work on this and unfortunately I had to get it cancelled and they could not even compensate on this. How would a brand like this grow in the market over the period of time?? I have good contacts with the directors in urban ladder kaustabh and Mr. James who directly are in touch with Mr. Goel can very well take this thing internally and make things work better I believe. As the rep and level 2 people cannot do anything about this kind of work procedure so Il have to ask these guys to get into this and make it work at their own level. Seriously an utter disgrace and a stern feedback so far

I had ordered a side table almost 40 days back and was assured that the product would get delivered till the end. They used to give all kind of reasons like that the product is getting manufactured, then the product was found defective during QC and finally that they are manufacturing again. After about 30-35 days they mentioned that the product is now discontinued and would need to be cancelled. All this while there was absolutely no update that Urban Ladder provided, it was only when I called them and wrote to them did they provide all this information. They have made me struggle to get the refund, voucher for the lost referral bonus, interest paid to the Bank as it was a no cost EMI and compensation to go through all this misery. Even after several calls to the customer service desk and visits at the Urban Ladder store, I have still not got the matter resolved. They promise call back and quick resolution in 24 hours, but all of the promises prove hollow. Can’t believe this company is in customer service business. The most pathetic and horrible experience I have ever had with any firm.
