We have added an advanced search, allowing you to search hotspots, trails, animals and events in one view. Furthermore, trails can now also be found on hotspot profiles.

We improved the hotspot search so you can now search by animal, and we improved the onboarding design.

We have completely redesigned the main interface to accommodate our most requested feature: nature trails. You can now find hiking trails near you or by hotspot. Use the navigate mode to hike the trail, easily check which animals have been spotted recently near the trail, and log observations while navigating. We have also started adding animal sounds to the profiles and created a fun game called Spotter, where you can practice your animal spotting skills. There are plenty of new features to try out, and we hope you enjoy them! Feel free to let us know what you think.

You can now create your own outdoor events and connect them to your favorite hotspots and animals. Expect more of this in future releases, so you can slowly start creating your own custom wildlife trip or just join one of many of the outdoor adventures out there. We have also recreated a few visual components from scratch so Larry and Sergey would be happy as a clam at high tide.

We have redesigned the hotspot overview on the discover screen, so you can easily find nearby hotspots, and any related events and iconic animals. We have also added events to the hotspot and animal profile pages, so you can quickly see whether there are any upcoming events.

We have added the option to see observations for a specific animal within a radius, so you can get better insights into where the animal can be found.

We added a nifty little feature on the hotspot profile page, allowing you to see a map of the hotspot and any bird/wildlife hides that are located in the hotspot area. We have also added some onboarding screens to welcome our new users.

Mainly small improvements this time. But also a little cool feature on the hotspot screen in the animal list, showing you the odds of seeing an animal in the country where the hotspot is in, so you can get an idea of how rare the animal is in that country.

We have worked hard to bring you wildlife tours, that are automatically matched to target animals and hotspots. Besides that we are now showing you commonality bars per month for every animal in a hotspot, allowing you to see when to go out there to see your favorite animals.

Big release this time! We have improved offline logging, ensuring that you can venture into the wild without worries about reception. We have included most European languages for animal names, to serve all future users throughout the continent. We have added the option to show or hide which animals you have spotted in your animal pack. We have improved the UX for searching animals for an observation, and last but not least...we have added a new section on animal profiles showing conservation progress (active only on the European bison for now). Watch as we extend the data sets on conservation to offer you more information for your wildlife experience!
