I am email account holder of Yahoo since last 12 years when smartphones era didn't exist in India. I am using this app from the day when I purchased my first smartphone. I didn't find any problem in using this app. The only problem I found is that like on the laptop or computer it doesn't have an option to logout or login, I think this may be because the developer of this app may not have thought of inclusion of such options because smartphones are definitely more personal than any laptop or computer. Ultimately I found this app working well with my needs of email communication.

Latest Update Ruined the User Experience

I have been using Yahoo Mail for years because it was simple, clean, and easy to manage. Unfortunately, the latest iOS update has completely ruined the experience.The new layout is cluttered, confusing, and much harder to navigate compared to the previous version. Emails are no longer easy to scan, important options feel hidden, and the entire inbox looks unnecessarily complicated. The older design was far more practical and user-friendly.One of the biggest problems is the font size. The text has become too small, making emails difficult and uncomfortable to read for long periods. Readability was much better before this update.The app now also feels overloaded with ads and distracting visual elements, which makes the inbox look unprofessional and messy. Instead of improving usability, the redesign has made everyday email management slower and frustrating.Features that users relied on, including easier sorting and smoother navigation, either feel removed or harder to access now. Yahoo Mail was once known for having a clean and reliable UI/UX, but this update feels like a major downgrade.Please listen to long-time users and consider bringing back the previous layout, larger readable fonts, simpler navigation, and a cleaner inbox experience. Right now, the latest update has turned a once excellent email app into one of the most frustrating mail apps to use.

Beware: Email messages can go “missing” when using this app

I was using YahooMail on my iPad, just browsing through mail. After browsing two email threads, the first message in bith threads mysteriously went missing. It no longer showed as part of the email thread. I searched for he message using the search bar, and it showed in the search results in the iOS app, but NOT in the web browser on my PC. One of the missing email messages had an attachment. I can see this attachment under Documents/Files, and download it from any device. But the initial message itself has mysteriously vanished. I can’t view it on my browser. But it exists, I know that. It’s just not accessible.So in summary: DO NOT USE THIS APP. It seems to mess up your inbox somehow, to the point where messages go missing and are not accessible on other devices.Someone from the development team please reply to this message. I need help recovering my email messages.

Dear Oath and Verizon, I have refused to agree to your new privacy terms over and over again. Which means that I do NOT allow you to use my personal data to sell it to the various advertising agencies that you have collaborated with. I also do not give you the permission to collect my personal data. I signed up for Yahoomail. At a time when Gmail started sending me numerous promotional mails without any of my consent. Now you know very well that ever since you guys have taken over yahoomail sevice, you’ve been sending me more than a dozen promotional mails based on my browsing preferences. You might think that I haven’t noticed this. But you’re wrong. Now you better back off with the useless promotional mails. You won’t influence me on any way. You will only irritate me by making delete all such promotional mails that I never signed up for. Thanking you. Hope you get my message.
