There’s no such thing as a clean getaway in PAKO 3, and that makes these hectic chases incredibly fun. Steering your tiny car across obstacle-filled maps, weaving to avoid police in hot pursuit – being bad has never felt so good.
Totally Reliable Delivery
You’ve got a simple job in the hilariously absurd physics game Totally Reliable Delivery: carry fragile boxes from one point to another. Trouble is, your arms are like noodles and your centre of gravity is off by a few feet. Good luck!
Jump Jerboa
This fiendishly tough platformer has you bounding off walls in a delightful dash for the exit. Snagging gems and evading enemies take carefully timed hops, and vanishing floors can spell doom. Thankfully, Jump Jerboa’s silky-smooth controls are extremely precise.
Blackbox
To solve this inventive puzzler, you’ll tinker with your iPhone or iPad itself: rotate it, shout into its speaker and adjust the display brightness. Some solutions are right there in front of you; others you’ll stumble upon only by experimenting – which makes the “Aha!” moments all the more thrilling.
Baba Is You
Rules were made to be broken – or at least rewritten – in the acclaimed indie puzzler Baba Is You. Shove blocks of text around to form phrases that change how everything works – allowing rocks to float, walls to move and a sea of lava to become harmless flowers.
