If you only have the patience to open the app for a few seconds, then it might be fine. Otherwise, be prepared for constant ads.Practically every action triggers advertising. Open a profile, check your messages, switch sections — it doesn’t matter what you do, you get another ad. It becomes extremely frustrating very quickly.The number of profiles you can view is very limited. You also cannot see who tapped you unless you pay for a subscription, which is another topic entirely.Do you really believe that gay people are walking ATMs? Sometimes it genuinely feels like the app expects users to squeeze money out of themselves every morning.Another strange issue: there are sometimes profiles of nearly naked women appearing among profiles of men. I understand and respect that trans people use the platform too, but trust me — many of those profiles are clearly not trans.I’m writing this feedback even though I know it probably won’t matter, because the monetization here feels extremely greedy.The only reason I still use this app is because there is barely any alternative as popular as Grindr. And that’s the real problem.You effectively have a monopoly on this space, and it shows.Good luck going forward.

XTRA membership. Only a trick for get you to upgrade

Very disappointed. Purchasing an expensive XTRA membership is a scam. It’s a trick. With only xtra you can do very little. No chats! What’s the point if you can’t communicate. All you get are constant pop-up windows prompting you to upgrade and pay more! Either you do ir delete the app and count your losses. .

Otter, twink, trans ...sure..very pc. Once people could have all sorts of images on display, but things evolved - It’s normal to have a profile image, where one stands naked in front of a locker room mirror..where it stops around pube hairs....it’s okey to have a picture where the angle is up someone’s hairy thighs, focusing on ones butt — But displaying an image in bikinis is considered sexual content and not allowed, at least I can’t show those sorts anymore - The wibe here is very toxic masculinity...and Grindr is doing nothing to prevent that....it’s like they never heard of free the nipple or feminism- This is just my thought on Grindr- I use it alot....but I feel baby has been put in the corner....unless baby grew wrinkles etc. - But I fear ones sexiness is limited to one archetype praised by the “unwritten rules” of Grindrism
