**Document View Improvements** We’ve expanded document view to support attaching additional files and annotations directly in the editor, so multi‑file reports can be assembled without leaving your layout. A new attachment configuration area lets you specify file fields, then control how they’re appended to the primary report. On the backend, the collator now merges those attachments reliably and keeps the report in progress until all files are combined. This makes complex, multi‑document reports more predictable and removes manual post‑processing. Additional quality of life and layout improvements to Document view include: - Added vertical alignment controls for summary table cells so content can align to the top, middle, or bottom as needed. - Added additional border controls for field blocks and the element field’s table block. - Added a duplicate action for blocks to speed up layout building and repeated content creation. - Improved block search behavior to automatically open relevant field groups while filtering. - Improved summary document view visibility so standard field blocks render consistently. - Improved summary table rendering so footer rows appear correctly and match the expected layout. - Improved integer formatting in document view to match the input field formatting (no unexpected commas). - Improved rendering performance and consistency for complex formula fields in document view so large reports load smoothly. **Drawing View Offline Support** - Added clearer offline caching indicators and more reliable access to drawing views when working without a connection. - Improved the reliability of drawing view annotation thumbnail generation, particularly when offline. **Company Management Updates** - Added the option to customize the project abilities available to users at the company level. - Added an ability that can prevent certain users from leaving projects, improving admin control. **Minor Improvements** - Improved Android app compatibility for newer devices and OS versions. **Bug Fixes** - Fixed cases where hidden or background‑only blocks were removed from reports, causing layout gaps. - Fixed login flow to surface authentication errors with clear messages. - Fixed number formatting inconsistencies so integer formatting matches input behavior in Document View. - Fixed preview report errors so valid reports can be generated reliably. - Fixed profile picture uploads that could stall or fail. - Fixed issues uploading JFIF images by converting them to a supported format. - Fixed spatial relationship options to include more MEP categories like ducts and air terminals. - Fixed a bug preventing the multiple photo capture from working while offline. - Fixed a bug causing sorting based on Revit Parameter values to not work.

**Company Management** The company management interface has been updated to use a full screen page to make room for future improvements as well as to support the addition of company managed authentication providers. Company admins can now specify which authentication providers are allowed to be used by the users in their companies, which is supported by the updated sign-in flow. **Sign-in Flow** The sign-in flow has been updated to fetch authorized authentication providers for users when prompted with their email and to provide a faster sign-in flow overall. Magic email sign-in link support has also been added, allowing users to immediately sign in with an email link provided it is allowed by their company administrators. **Minor Improvements** - Added a “Select All” button for quick-selecting all categories and/or element data when creating templates. - Major improvements were made with the speed in exporting extremely large document view reports. - Support was added for referencing Revit parameters directly within the new formula field with their own node. Revit parameters can now be referenced without utilizing a Revit parameter field first. **Bug Fixes** - Fixed a bug causing number field inputs to behave sporadically. - Fixed a bug causing newly created elements to not immediately appear on other user’s devices. - Fixed a bug causing elements created via Automations to not properly set their name according to their unique ID. - Fixed a bug occasionally causing the Revit add-in to not recognize models that have already been published to a project.

**Bug Fixes** - Fixed a bug causing the support chat message popover on desktop to not show the “X” button to close. - Fixed a bug causing the “Update Available” button to not appear in the app consistently.

## Document View Improvements ### Table of Fields Block A new block providing an easy way to layout element field data in a table has been added with full customization abilities. ### Field Block Styling Element field value blocks in Document View can now have additional styling applied. Each block can have its own border, padding, margin, and background settings applied for additional customization capabilities. Fields can also have their title overridden to display a custom value instead of the field title in place of the label. ### Container Settings Containers can now have margin and padding set independently for each side and include an “Add block” button to easily insert new blocks into containers. Field blocks now display their group (if applicable) from the block selector. ## Improved Filtering and Sorting Table, Gallery, Document, and Form views can now all be viewed offline even when they have filters and sorts applied. Filtering and sorting can now be modified offline, including full text search. When online, all views now automatically update the elements included as element data changes, bringing elements that match filters and sorts into the view and removing those that do not in real time. ## API Key Improvements API keys can now be generated with variable expiration dates, including keys that never expire. API keys can also be manually expired or removed and can now have a name set so they're easier to track. ## Other changes **Improvements** - Padding on the support chat window was improved for greater accessibility. - Created By and Updated By fields can now be used to set the “Send To” value in the send email automation action - Manually triggered automations can now update element field values. - Select field values can now be set on elements when updated with a formula when values match on label, value, or ID. - An `arrayFlatten` function was added to formula fields. - A `formatDateToString` function was added to formula fields. **Bug Fixes** - A bug with prefilled links for publicly shared forms not populating data correctly was fixed. - A bug with elements not initially loading in categories with a heavy proportion of archived elements was fixed. - A bug with selecting Relationship (V2) field values in public form views was fixed.

**Relationship and Formula Support** Relationship and Formula fields are now supported in the API and in non-document view reports. **New Manual Automation Trigger** A Manual Automation Trigger has been added to support the running of automations for specified elements manually. This supports all automation action types with the exception of update an element. This means that formula values can now be written to Revit parameters. **Bug Fixes** - Lookup filters are now properly filtered out of relationship fields in the element pane. - Relative date filtering was fixed for some cases in auto relationship fields. - Relationship and formula fields were fixed to restore auto updating when criteria change in the element pane. - A bug with auto lookup value calculations in document view reports with a single element was fixed.

- Fixed a bug with numerical lookup aggregations breaking some of the element pane field inputs. - Fixed a bug with archived related fields used in formulas causing some document view fields to not show their values in app. - Fixed a bug with some annotations not showing in drawing views.

**Element Bulk Edit Improvements** Element bulk editing - accessible after selecting multiple elements in a table view - has been updated to allow the setting of element metadata fields, Name, Starred, and Completed. Functionality for setting bulk values has also been expanded with the power of the visual formula editor, allowing you to calculate values for a given point in time and write them back to the selected elements. **Aggregations** Table view column aggregations are now powered by the Element Sync Engine, bringing more advanced capabilities to your workflows. To join the beta for aggregating Formula field values, contact support. **Multi-photo Capture on Mobile iOS** Use the new “Take Multiple Photos” options when adding files to Layer in the mobile iOS app to capture and upload files with fewer clicks. When using this options, devices will stay in capture mode until cancelled. **Other Improvements** - Improved the performance of loading related element values in the new Relationships field. - Improved the recover-ability of deleted select field options from elements. - Improved the “Send Email” automation action to no longer report a failure when an email has no intended recipients. - Improved the user experience for formula functions that should be able to support an arbitrary number of similarly typed inputs. **Bug Fixes** - Fixed a bug with the visual formula editor dialog bleeding into the header on mobile iOS. - Fixed a bug with the activity pane crashing the app when referencing users that have been removed from a project. - Fixed a bug with creating or applying a template with many files. - Fixed a bug with the search bar not clearing it’s input value when switching between views. - Fixed a bug with the formula functions reference page.
