RollCut is a layout algorithm system covering a wide range of sheet and roll cutting tasks. Designed for order intake, calculation, and daily workshop use. RollCut is a practical cutting layout tool for sheet metal and coil stock, designed for real workshop and production use. The app builds efficient cutting layouts, calculates material area, roll length, and waste percentage. All calculations are focused on real manufacturing tasks and everyday production work — not theoretical nesting. A system of algorithms, not a single calculation method RollCut is built on an architecture of multiple independent layout engines. Each engine follows a different strategy, allowing the app to cover a wide range of packing scenarios. Dedicated algorithms are used for coil mode, considering longitudinal cutting specifics. For sheet mode, multiple packing strategies are available, including a vertical dense filling method. This approach allows you to: • generate different layout options for the same task • achieve denser sheet utilization • compare results depending on the selected method • reduce empty space and material waste Base, Smart and Alternative RollCut provides several calculation modes: Base — stable and predictable layout generation. Smart — more flexible calculation with advanced combination search. Alternative — an additional strategy that behaves differently depending on the selected mode. In Sheet mode, when using Smart Layout, the Alternative option can activate vertical dense filling, enabling tighter packing and alternative layout structures. RollCut does not rely on a single packing approach. It provides a structured set of tools to select the optimal layout for each specific task. Added a seventh layout engine for Sheet mode — a vertical dense packing algorithm. The “Alternative mode” button now applies different strategies depending on the selected mode: in Base it uses an alternative packing method, while in Smart it enables vertical dense filling for improved sheet utilization. Improved calculation logic and sheet space usage.
