On Aggyo, you have the flexibility to create events or join events posted by other users. Whether you want to organize a small gathering or a large event, our platform supports events of all sizes. As a host, you will be required to submit a distinctive identifier such as an image of yourself, to help attendees recognize you at the event. This ensures a sense of familiarity and trust among participants. Don’t worry—this identifier will only be accessible to users who RSVP and are present at the event location at the designated time and date. If they do not attend or you, the host are not present at the event location, your identifier remains private.
Your profile on Aggyo provides a space to enhance your interactions within the community. You can fill out various optional categories which will be used by our system’s algorithm to send you automated greetings and suggest events that align with you, enhancing your overall experience on the platform. For the validity of your profile, it is mandatory to keep at least one image of yourself uploaded. This helps in maintaining the authenticity and trustworthiness of our user base. Periodically, we will send you friendly reminders to update your profile images to ensure it remains current and valid. These reminders aim to help you keep your profile up-to-date and maintain an accurate representation within the community. If you fail to provide an updated identifier, your account may be suspended until you complete the reverification process. By keeping your profile updated and complete, you enhance your ability to connect with others and participate in events that genuinely interest you. Our focus on profile validity and periodic updates ensures that all users are genuine, contributing to a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone on Aggyo.
You can create as many events as you like, providing you with the freedom to plan and organize multiple gatherings without any restrictions. If unforeseen circumstances arise and you are no longer able to host an event, you can cancel it without facing any penalties. This flexibility ensures that you can manage your commitments effectively. However, to ensure proper planning and attendance, you cannot post events scheduled for the same day. All events must be posted at least a day in advance, giving participants sufficient notice to RSVP and make necessary arrangements. You can join other users' events if they interest you, but only if you are connected with them. Building connections within our community is easy and encouraged. You can connect with others using the "Connect with (alias)" feature, where "alias" refers to the nickname chosen by our users. This feature allows you to connect with people, fostering a network of like-minded individuals or groups.
Furthermore, our platform prioritizes safety and integrity in user interactions. If you come across any event that you find inappropriate or suspect is in violation of our guidelines, you can report it. Each event card has a red flag icon on the right side, which you can click to submit a report. When you flag an event, our moderation team will review it to determine its validity. If the report is found to be justified, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against the user who posted the event. Disciplinary actions may include warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans, depending on the severity of the violation. Importantly, once such an event is deemed valid, you will no longer see any events from the reported user in the future. This ensures that your experience on Aggyo remains positive and free from unwanted or inappropriate content.
