BrasilTVMap helps you find nearby Brazilian TV and FM radio transmitters, calculate the exact bearing to point your antenna, and check whether you have a clear line of sight — all from your iPhone or iPad.
FIND TRANSMITTERS
Browse over 22,000 TV and FM stations across all 27 Brazilian states plus the Federal District, powered by official Anatel open data. Filter by distance (30–120 miles), minimum power, state, and broadcast mode (TV or FM). Sort by distance, signal strength, power, bearing, or channel number.
VIRTUAL CHANNELS
See which network you're receiving. BrasilTVMap maps physical UHF channels to their virtual channel numbers and broadcaster names (Globo, Record, SBT, Band, TV Cultura, and more) per city and state.
AIM YOUR ANTENNA
• Compass Bearing — live compass needle pointing to any transmitter with true and magnetic bearings
• Point to Station — interactive map with a draggable pin and bearing line
• AR Pointer — augmented reality 3D arrow in the real-world direction of the transmitter, with on-target haptic feedback and "Bullseye!" confirmation
• Radar Compass — all stations as dots on a radar display, colour-coded by power, with on-target vibration
CHECK LINE OF SIGHT
The Signal Path Profile shows an elevation cross-section between you and the transmitter using terrain data. See instantly if hills or buildings block your signal. The Aerial Height Calculator tells you exactly how high to mount your antenna to clear obstructions.
COVERAGE ANALYSIS
"What Can I Receive?" finds the best direction to point your antenna, recommends the aerial type (narrowband or wideband), polarisation, pointing direction, channel range, and minimum mount height. Best Tower Per Network shows the strongest option for each broadcaster.
TV GUIDE
View all receivable channels ordered by virtual channel number with links to live programme listings for major networks.
DX LOGGING
Mark stations as received, rate them 1–3 stars, track your Top 10 furthest receptions, and export your complete DX log as a CSV spreadsheet.
ALL STATIONS MAP
Every transmitter on a map with colour-coded pins by region. Drag your location pin to explore. Tap any pin for quick stats and links to full detail or satellite site view.
BILINGUAL
Full English and Brazilian Portuguese interface — switch in Settings at any time.
