- On the iPad, the app also works with external cameras. USB-connected cameras such as night-vision cameras that are compatible with iPad can be used with the “FaceSwitch” app. After connecting the camera, tap the camera switch button in the upper right of the screen to select the camera. (Note that iOS for iPhone does not support external cameras.) - Some of the switch icons have been updated.

- Fixed an issue with connections to relays equipped with multiple channels (2-channel and 4-channel). It is now possible to connect to the corresponding relays and operate each channel.

- Fixed an issue where the connection between the switch output destinations—the “Home” and “Shortcuts” apps—was disconnected.

- The app has been modified so that when it restarts, it automatically reconnects to the most recently used output destination (such as a relay or MaBeee).

- Fixed an issue where the settings menu was not being displayed.

- Added recognition of eight types of facial movements, such as looking left/right, raising eyebrows, and sticking out the tongue. - Increased the types of compatible relays. - Enabled integration with the built-in "Home" and "Shortcuts" apps on iPhone and iPad, allowing control of smart home device power and execution of a shortcut (a sequence of operations) registered in the "Shortcuts" app.

iPad version has been updated. With this update, on recent iPads equipped with the fast M1 chip or later, by setting the iPadOS multitasking features (Split View, Slide Over, or Stage Manager), “Face Switch” and other apps can be used simultaneously (on a single iPad). (Unfortunately, on iPads with other chips, it is not possible to use the camera simultaneously during Split View or Slide Over, and “Face Switch” will stop. On these iPads, use “Face Switch” alone in full screen mode.)

- "Ignore rapid movements" (of the mouth, face, eyes) and "Eliminate repeated output" functions have been added to the settings menu of each switch to avoid unintended switch activations. The bugs related to the features have been fixed in this version. - "Direct" (outputs on/off as it is) was added to the “Mode” of each switch. For instance, in the case of the “Mouth Opening" switch, the switch will be ON while the mouth is open with this mode.
