• Custom Markers now flip and rotate with the image. • Teradek feeds can be converted from YCrCb to RGB so that LUTs and Focus Assist can be used: Settings > Teradek Options > Convert Images to RGB. RGB Conversion increases battery drain, and lowers frame rate on older, slower iDevices (especially those with A8 or earlier CPUs) — so turn it on only when you need to use LUTs or Focus Assist. • Support for Teradek Serv and HEVC encoders (Cube 755). • “network timeout” displayed when Teradek feed stops for 2+ seconds. • Aspect ratio fixes for Teradek feeds.

Settings layout bugs fixed.

Fixes missing focus-point display for EOS R5 and similar cameras.

Fixed a bug where frame marker aspect ratios were blank and safe areas showed as 0% in the Mark Control Panel.

• Panasonic connections maintained when you return to Source screen, so you can change settings or open a different camera without the camera saying “not connected to the app” and blanking its HDMI output momentarily. • GH6 Forced Reset now resets only on first connection or when a 10-second timeout is detected.

• FieldMonitor’s name on GH6's connection confirmation screen and Wi-Fi history screen is now correct, and not some weird sequence of random characters.

• Sony A7iv: recording start/stop working. With iOS 15+, you can use the Scan function’s text recognition to connect to the camera’s network. • Panasonic GH6 support (see website for details).

• Now works with Panasonic GH5 II. • More reliable start-up with all Panasonics.

Bug fix: stopped “What’s new” from appearing every single time the app is launched!

• “QR” is now called “Scan”. • On iOS 15, Scan can detect Canon and Fujifilm SSIDs and passwords using text recognition, and automatically connect to the camera’s network.

• Control panels fade away while a slider is used, so you can more easily see what you’re adjusting. • Image rotation button in the Image control panel (iOS 10+ only). • Anamorphic desqueeze direction control in the Image control panel. • Desqueeze adjustment control panel, so you can fine-tune desqueeze to remove “anamorphic mumps”.

If your Sony or Panasonic lets you connect with a QR code, FieldMonitor can now read it: tap QR on the source screen (requires iOS 11+).

• Panasonics: added Cancel Track button when focus tracking is active. • Improved X-T3 exposure mode detection in video mode.

• Extra REC Emphasis: add a red frame or red background when camera is recording. • CANCEL TRACK button to turn off focus tracking on Sony A1 and A7Siii.

• FieldMonitor runs on M1 (Apple Silicon) Macs. • Teradek video displays in Split View & Slide Over modes on modern iPads. • Maximum Aspect Ratio control renders properly when Assistive Bold Text is enabled.

• Focus can be set even when camera controls are hidden, as long as Camera Controls are enabled. • Sony A7Siii: tap and hold to set focus point (works in movie mode only. There is no onscreen feedback; the focus area is not shown). • Teradek: you can connect in Live:Air mode as well as Quickview, TDS, and RTP/RTSP modes.

Minor cosmetic update for iOS 14 compatibility.

• Canons: FieldMonitor no longer leaves controls disabled when you quickly press and release the shutter button to stop recording. • Panasonics: adjusting video gain while recording should now work on GH4s in dB mode; improved control response for Synchro Scan settings.

• Canon EOS camera support. • You can swap shutter and iris control positions, or have them automatically match how they're shown on your camera (change this in the Settings menu). • You can change the name FieldMonitor uses for camera control, so if you have multiple iDevices, you can give each one its own name (important for Canons). • Fujifilm: in photo review, tap OK to return to live view. Photo Review Time has been moved from Fujifilm Display Defaults to main Settings menu; it is used for both Canon and Fujifilm cameras.

Bug fix: several camera option settings were missing their switches. They have been restored.

• “Scopes Use LUT” switch added to Image controls: when off, scopes are based on the original image; when on, scopes are based on the image with the LUT applied. • Fixed a bug that made it harder to tap some controls in the Control popup.

• Added red and cyan digital peaking types to Focus Assist. • Fixed: some Panasonics didn't have exposure controls while recording in Creative Movie Mode when AF was used; now they do! • Settings control appearance improved on iOS 13+.
