• Varie correzioni minori.

Chat Keeper now speaks Chinese and Portuguese, and search is fast in even the largest chats. • New languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Portuguese (Brazil). • Search no longer freezes the app in very large chats. It runs in the background and answers while you type, even in conversations with hundreds of thousands of messages. • Search results are now a compact list, newest first, with the number of matches at the top. • When you open a result, the message is outlined so you can see it at once. Tap the "1 of 250" counter to jump straight to any result by its number, or to go back to the list. • Reading a large chat during import now shows its progress. • Deleting a large chat no longer freezes the screen. It shows its progress, and if the app is closed halfway, the deletion is finished the next time you open it. • Updating statistics shows its progress, runs only once instead of starting over, and continues where it stopped if the app was closed. • The "Over time" chart now fits chats that span many years. • Words in Chinese, Japanese and Thai are now counted correctly in the statistics. • Various smaller fixes.

New statistics, and several import fixes. • Six new statistics cards: the rhythm of a conversation (how many conversations, the average gap between them, the longest streak and the longest silence), messages over time, who gets in touch first, message length, what was sent, and where the links go. • Stickers and GIFs are now counted in the chat list, next to photos, videos, voice notes and documents. • Some ordinary sentences that happened to look like a file name were imported as missing documents. They are messages again, and chats you have already imported are repaired when the app updates. • The Links tab has been improved. • Android exports: a file whose name contains spaces keeps its whole name. • If an import could only recognize you by your first name, it now tells you who it took you to be, so you can correct it in the chat's details. • The EULA and the Privacy Policy have been rewritten to describe the app as it is today. • Various smaller fixes.

The biggest update since Chat Keeper came back: German, Android exports, and chats that open the moment you tap them. • Chat Keeper is now available in German. • Exports from Android phones import correctly, with their photos and voice notes. They were refused before. • A chat is named after the person you were talking to, and you can type a name yourself while importing. • Large conversations open almost immediately. • Search opens the chat at the match, with everything around it and arrows to step through the rest. • A new button takes you back to the newest message. • Statistics for one chat or one person, and for every message or only your own. • The media browser is about ten times faster and opens the picture you tapped; a long press goes to its message. • Face ID or Touch ID, a new lock screen, and the passcode is a setting in About rather than something the app demands at launch. • The export guide shows the real WhatsApp screens, in light and dark. • On iPad: the way back out of the legal screens, and an export sheet that fits. • Various smaller fixes.

Fixes and improvements to the big update. • Chats imported with earlier versions, and group chats, display correctly again. • Improved support for right-to-left languages. • Documents show a preview: the first page of a PDF, or the file’s name, type and size. Contact cards show the person’s name and number. • Chat Keeper offers to merge a person who appears under two names before a chat is imported. • Tapping a Chat Keeper backup in Files opens it straight in Restore. • Importing is more reliable. • Various smaller fixes.

A complete rebuild — the first update in some years, and most of the app is new. • Backup & Restore: save your whole archive as one file, optionally passphrase-protected, and read it back on a new phone. • Export a single chat as a web page, a PDF, or plain text. • A rewritten chat screen: proper bubbles, sender colours, WhatsApp text formatting, and photos, videos, voice notes, documents and stickers all shown as what they are. • Search inside a conversation and jump straight to the message. • Media, Links and Documents browser for every chat. • Chat details: when a conversation started, who wrote most, what it contains. • A rebuilt Statistics tab. • The importer now reads exports from any language and phone, not just some. If a chat would not import before, try it again. • Onboarding, a clearer import flow, and a six-step guide to exporting from WhatsApp, including the separate route a group chat needs. Requires iOS 16 or later.
