Multiple strategies to reduce your screentime 1. Delay before opening your app: A bit of time before choosing if you need to open your distracting app. You can have the wait time increase each time you open your app. 2. Interrupt your scrolling: Check your distracting apps for short periods of time so you don't get sucked in. 3. Set an app goal and optionally block when you reach your limit. 4. Configurable for different days of the week and time by app. 5. Messages like "Is this important" before opening your app. 6. See your screen time for only your distracting apps. non faccio mai recensioni, ma qua veramente mi cambia il quotidiano sta app, da quando la uso non uso praticamente mai i social ma se ne avessi bisogno per vedere un post di un amico, ce li ho sempre a portata di mano, vi consiglio di mettere 45 sec di timer, fidati che ad aspettare questi secondi e l’intenzione era procrastinare, il vostro cervello lascerà stare e penserà ad altro.anche perché quando ce il timer, le notifiche delle app scelte non compaiono mai, solo i 5 minuti disponibili dopo che lo avete sbloccato

Non sono solita scrivere recensioni, ma questa applicazione merita davvero che ne lasci una. Mi ero resa conto di perdere troppo tempo sui social, togliendo tempo allo studio (sono una studentessa universitaria), ma da quando l’ho scaricata e ho impostato il timer a 45 secondi prima di poter entrare sulle app, è tutto cambiato: in quei 45 secondi ho il tempo di pensare se abbia senso o no in quel momento aprire un social. Davvero un applicazione utile, che ti fa rendere conto di quanto tempo “sprecavi” sui social. Vittoria

Non sono solita scrivere recensioni, ma questa applicazione merita davvero che ne lasci una. Mi ero resa conto di perdere troppo tempo sui social, togliendo tempo allo studio (sono una studentessa universitaria), ma da quando l’ho scaricata e ho impostato il timer a 45 secondi prima di poter entrare sulle app, è tutto cambiato: in quei 45 secondi ho il tempo di pensare se abbia senso o no in quel momento aprire un social. This is honestly one of those apps that i would never imagine to change my day to day life so much. I used Opal for one year but it was almost useless because i kept spamming 15 minutes breaks and it was just overall really easy to end whatever focus timer was scheduled. while as ScreenZen adds just the right amount of friction to unblocking apps that just doesn’t make me feel like waiting to open an app is worth it. the other feature that i particularly like is the possibility to create a 2 minutes open option that makes it really easy to check for messages on socials but impossible to start doomscrolling. then there’s what i consider the best feature of all, which is the cooldown for apps you just opened, which makes it impossible to spam opening upon opening. i personally set my blocking schedule really strictly with only a few one hour breaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and i set my limits to 5 openings 5 minutes each (i’ve been basically using tiktok for 2 minutes a day at this point, in just 1 week i went from 45+ minutes of tik tok a day to just 2-3) and best thing overall is that you can customize the breaks however you like, and it’s really really powerful and simple. so, yea, it works really really well. my screen time got down from 5-6 hours to just 1 and a half hours / 2 hours. AND IT’S FREE!

Ottima app! Oltre ad essere gratuita, permette di risparmiare un sacco di tempo che altrimenti andrebbe perso in maniera non intenzionale. I timer di apertura sono una svolta, così come il timer di chiusura automatica od il tempo limite giornaliero (per app, gruppo o generale). Ottimo anche il fatto di avere la “streak” sempre visible (come Duolingo) che ti spinge a rispettare i tuoi limiti. Consigliatissima!
