Great, but not perfect

The app helps you improve your American English accent pronunciation, and it’s really well made. The lessons are very well structured, the instructors are extremely competent, and there’s a machine learning mechanism that basically tailors a learning path to your needs and difficulties. So, I’d give this a 10 out of 10 for that aspect. I’d give it five stars for everything, but I’m only giving four stars because for the past two years, at the end of every lesson, I have to hit the skip button about ten times just to avoid leaving feedback. It’s really annoying when apps constantly nag you for feedback in an obnoxious way. After the first time, they should just stop asking.Another suggestion is that while the app suggests a lot of new vocabulary, it doesn’t give much context on how to use those words. It would be great if they added a feature that lets you not only save the words but also see example sentences. Otherwise, it’s hard to know how to use them in real-life expressions.

Regarding the feedback prompts, you can turn these off by tapping the settings icon in the top right corner while practicing and unselecting “Allow feedback requests.” This should stop the prompts from appearing at the end of each lesson. Misleading Advertising and Limited Functionality

downloaded BoldVoice based on the advertisement, which showcased an interactive AI robot capable of correcting pronunciation in a natural, conversational manner. However, the reality of the app is far from this promise.The app merely transcribes what you say and highlights potential pronunciation issues with different colors. There is no true AI robot that helps reformulate or guide you toward correct pronunciation dynamically. The experience is static and overly scripted. Furthermore, the app’s responses are generic and dismissive if you attempt to deviate from the pre-set topics.This was a huge disappointment as I was expecting an innovative tool that provides real-time, interactive feedback. The app’s advertising is misleading, and the actual product fails to deliver the value promised.
