Premetto che le app di fotografia le ho provate quasi tutte, Obscura 3 ha probabilmente la migliore interfaccia durante lo scatto. Non intrusiva, ovvero poco visibile mentre si inquadra il soggetto, ma anche facile da svelare quando bisogna cambiare un’impostazione. Altre app nel tentativo di nascondere l’interfaccia diventano poi criptiche de si vuole anche solo modificare l’esposizione.E fin qui, quindi, soldi ben spesi.Dopo lo scatto però ci sono solo dei filtri, belli ma pochi, semplici e non customizzabili, e nessun controllo su esposizione, luce, contrasto, ecc. e non dico cose esoteriche, eh?, tipo la correzione prospettiva, ma solo i fondamentali per regolare un minimo lo scatto.Credo che per quello che costa sarebbe bello se gli sviluppatori aggiungessero andhe questo set di funzioni alla app, per non farla sembrare incompleta. Ci sono certamente app che offrono meno di Obscura 3, ma tanto per cominciare non costano 10€ ed effettivamente non parlano di editing delle foto se offrono solo una manciata di filtri.Comunque, per riconoscere il lavoro svolto, ho tolto solo una stella perché la app merita davvero, ma spero che qualcuno sia già al lavoro per completare questo aspetto carente della app.

Beautuful but a big problem

Really well-made app — I’ve tried several, and in terms of interface and usability it’s probably the best. It allows shooting both in ProRAW (12 and 48 MP) and standard RAW at 12 MP, with full manual control and the ability to lock both focus and exposure. I would absolutely buy it, but it has one major flaw that makes it practically useless for me: I can’t export the original .DNG files to my Mac, where I want to edit them (with Halide this works without any problem)!!! Exporting from the app doesn’t work, neither via AirDrop nor by saving to iCloud, and from the iPhone Photos library it only exports the JPG or HEIC version. I don’t know if it’s a bug or a limitation of the app, but as it is, it’s totally useless to me. A real shame.
