Welcome to the official app of PRS Legislative Research – an all-in-one platform for citizens to stay informed and engaged with Indian Parliament and State Assemblies. PRS Legislative Research is a non-partisan research organisation based in New Delhi. Since 2005, PRS is working towards strengthening Indian Democracy by strengthening its Legislatures. Parliament and state legislatures form the core of India’s democracy. On behalf of citizens, they make laws, hold the governments accountable for their actions, and allocate public funds to various national priorities. Therefore, it is imperative that legislators make informed decisions, that citizens know how they are being represented, and that there are channels of participation between citizens and legislators.

Using this App, you can find out about the activities of your MPs and MLAs, for instance, their attendance, the questions asked by them, the Bills introduced by them, and the debates they have raised. You can stay up-to-date about the working of legislatures, with detailed information about their sessions and sittings, legislation being considered and passed by them, and a lot more. The App provides a convenient option to check out the business of Parliament on a given date. Official texts of thousands of Bills and Acts can also be easily accessed using this App.

PRS publishes comprehensive research and analysis on the working of Legislatures, Bills and Budgets considered by Legislatures, and policies formulated by central and state governments. All these publications are accessible for free with the added convenience of a smartphone. From one-page summaries of Bills and reports of Parliamentary Committees to in-depth analyses of legislation and budgets, PRS continuously creates and makes available information which should matter to citizens, in simple language and concise formats.
