Folder Compare on iPhone and iPad • Compare two folders: Browse opens the Files folder picker, and tapping a changed file opens its diff in the editor. Faster in large projects and documents • Quick Open and Go to Symbol no longer rescan your project or document on every keystroke. • The outline and the line and word counts are built in the background, so pausing while typing in larger files no longer stalls the editor. Your documents, preferences, and sessions carry over automatically.

iPhone and iPad • Close Settings with the new Close button in its top-right corner, including on iPhone Duo's outer display. • With Translucent Window on, the tab bar highlights only the active tab again instead of turning into one grey bar. • The line and column status stays above the keyboard shortcut bar while you type. Your documents, preferences, and sessions carry over automatically.

This update keeps Neon Vision Editor for iPhone and iPad in step with the Mac release. Editing, tabs, and the toolbar work as in 2.1.2.

Side by Side • The Side by Side button is now part of the standard toolbar. When several tabs are open, choose which one to show next to the tab you are editing. Editing, tabs, and the toolbar otherwise work as in 2.1.

iPhone Duo • The editor toolbar moves into a vertical column on the right edge, below the status bar, when iPhone Duo is closed, open, or partially folded, so it no longer covers the bottom of your document.
