Some babies eat three meals, some eat four Every baby's day looks a little different, and starting today, the meal plan can too. This release lets you choose exactly how many meals Nica fills in, on a per-baby basis. NEW: Pick your meal slots (per baby) Tell Nica which of the four slots, breakfast, morning snack, lunch, dinner, you want her to plan. Pick any two, three, or all four. The choice is saved per baby, so a younger sibling just starting solids can stay on two meals while their older brother or sister gets the full four. Open the sparkle button on the meal plan to choose, or change it anytime from Profile → Meal preferences. When you pick fewer slots, Nica re-balances the day so the meals she does plan stay nutrient-dense, and the coverage view stays honest about the day's targets, no false "deficiency" warnings just because lunch wasn't on the list. When "allergic" isn't black-and-white Confirmed allergies aren't always all-or-nothing. Babies who react to milk often tolerate yogurt. Egg allergies frequently allow baked egg. Tree nut allergies are usually one specific nut, not all of them. This release lets Nica work with that real-world picture, so meal plans stop hiding foods your baby can actually eat. NEW: Per-allergen tolerances On any confirmed allergy, you can now record specific forms your baby tolerates, like yogurt with a milk allergy, or baked egg with an egg allergy. Recipes and meal plans automatically allow the tolerated forms while still blocking the rest. Safety stays first Un-introduced allergens are still fully blocked. Tolerances only apply to confirmed allergies you've recorded. If a recipe contains an ingredient Nica can't fully resolve, it's blocked by default, never silently allowed.
