Well Played Soccer is made up of people. Every day, players from all corners of the world come together on our servers—speaking different languages, playing in different styles, but all with the same goal: a great game with great people. This community is WPS’s greatest asset, and we want to take care of it. That’s why this update introduces a reputation system to the game.

- Collapsible “Open Match” tile, - Quick chat bubbles displayed in the upper-right corner—an option that can be configured during matches and replays, - “Watch” button available on our team’s match tile, - Match status visible at the top of the team chat, - Team chat available in the team match lobby, - A team has 15 seconds to take a set piece. After that time, the opposing team takes possession of the ball, - Some visual improvements.

This version introduces walkovers for leaving team matches and in the evening the pitch will change its theme :)

Minor improvements to the login process. Better stats screens during matches and redirection to match details after the match ends.

This version includes optimizations and fixes to make the game even better than before!

We're almost ready to resume the game! In this version, we've added a store and made improvements and bug fixes.

Warm-up scheduled for next weekend! This update will allow players to enter the game as part of their warm-up. The full return of the game is still scheduled for October 23rd. Minor changes have also been made to the ball's flight physics and the goalkeeper's behavior when the ball enters the goal.

Optimizations, optimizations, a lot of optimizations!

- Overall team ranking and ranking matches! From now on, ranking points are awarded (or deducted ;)) for every team match, and teams are ranked in the overall team ranking, - Team cards! Gold, silver and bronze cards are awarded based on the season ranking, - The season ranking is calculated based on matches from the last 14 days, and in the overall team ranking we start from 0. - Updated team profile design, - A countdown timer to the end of the season has been added, - The ability to share links to player profiles, teams, matches and announcements, - Bug fixes (including ‘reset’ statistics in the player profile) and minor optimisations.

- Identifying intentional exits from matches with full squads, - Blocking content that violates community guidelines, - New players must practice in training mode for at least 10 minutes before joining an open match.

- Goal scorers’ and assist providers’ cards displayed during the match, - The missing ‘rising’ description has been added to cards where the OVR is calculated daily. This description appears when a player has played only a few matches (but no more than 25) so that the OVR can reflect the player’s strength more quickly and so that they do not have to wait for the weekly recalculation (ultimately, we will set the OVR to be recalculated every two weeks). The 25-match counter will be taken into account tonight, - In your profile, from the ‘Season Rank’ card, you can navigate to a view of the matches that count towards ranking points (RP). There is also an explanation of how RP calculation works.

- Slightly increased range of motion for the yellow joystick - you can pass the ball farther and maybe even try to beat the goalkeeper from a distance? - Slightly increased collision range when the yellow joystick is tilted - it should be a little easier to collect balls from above and block opponents’ kicks, - Changes to kick cancellation - from now on, you cancel a kick by moving your finger back to the center of the joystick - when you reach the cancellation zone, you’ll feel a gentle vibration, - Introduction of community chat moderation and the role of moderator.

This version includes major improvements to team matchmaking, which will allow players to find teams willing to play more quickly. - Team Matches - The “team readiness” feature has been introduced. From now on, players on a team set their readiness to play - similar to how it works for Open Matches. If there are at least 3 players ready to play, you can send a match invitation to an opposing team that also has at least 3 players ready. - You’ll receive a notification when there are 3 players ready to play on your team and at least one opposing team with the required number of players ready to play.

- Jump to Open Match - you can join to ongoing open match or a lobby even if you haven’t registered. Slots are reserved for registered players only for 50 seconds after lobby is created. After this time, access is open to everyone, - Yellow joystick improvements - don’t kick automatically when you run on the ball when joystick is tilted; block mechanics should continue to work as before, - Yellow joystick - run slow down (when you don't control the ball) decreased - from this release it will be only 15% less than normal speed instead of 30% as it is now, - Kick power charging increased a bit, - Quick chat in-game improvements: added two new reactions: “Thanks” and “No worries”; message bubbles background color changed to white, - Minor improvements in Replays.

- New shot-blocking mechanism - you must tilt the yellow joystick, and when the ball hits you, you’ll deflect it in the direction the joystick is tilted, - To prevent such a significant advantage in defence – when you tilt the yellow joystick (without having the ball), your speed is reduced by 30%, - Visual improvements showing collisions with the ball – they look more natural, - Quick chat! You can send a message quickly during a match – choose from 6 predefined messages, - The quick message will only be visible to players on your team,
 - Easier cancellation of kicks, - Replay improvements – displaying goal scorers and assisters.
